On page 25, the image of the Song of Poison is missing in some PDF viewers (most notably the default PDF viewers under Ubuntu and MacOS X). I've already reported this bug a month ago, but AFAIK nothing has been done up to now...

Our production folks have been very busy with the Core Rulebook PDF, Gen Con, and the move, but it is on the to-do list. In the meantime, it displays correctly in Adobe Reader.

About 99% of the "glitches" that appeared in Paizo's pdfs when using the default pdf viewer on Ubuntu (evince, which uses the poppler) will likely be fixed with the next release, Karmic Koala 9.10. I'm running an updated alpha of Karmic Koala on my netbook, and I only see a few (I believe the term is) masking issues with some graphics in Paizo's pdfs and that's it. I don't have my hardcopy of the book handy, but as far as I can tell the image on page 25 is fine.

We have updated the PDF of Pathfinder Module J5: Beyond the Vault of Souls, adding more useful bookmarks. We've also improved compatibility with Apple's Preview application under OS X 10.4 (Tiger). The editorial content has not changed.
If you have access to the PDF, and wish to download the updated version, you may do so for free at http://paizo.com/paizo/account/assets. (If the file shows that it has already been personalized, you'll need to repersonalize it before you can download the new version.)

Mh. Under Ubuntu's Document Viewer, the image is now complete – but now it is too large (or something like that), and it covers parts of the text closest to the image...
It works fine in Okular, though. Strange.
