It really gets interesting when you read some of the concepts they had for season 3. :-(

I really miss this show. I thought it was the most intelligent Sci-Fi I have seen on TV in a very long time. It went back to its routes rather than try and fill the Star Trek gap like SG1 did in the end. Language became a major factor and they were faced with real problems a lot of them relocatable. They even used a lot of lore from the other two series. Wish they brought it back.

Started rewatching this recently after it was mentioned in the Defiance thread, and boy oh boy, I wish it had lasted a few more seasons.
Indeed. SGU is the only Stargate show I wish there were more of.
