Any earlier than that and you will be here during bike week and you DON'T want that.

Would that be the Sturgis style bikers or the 10-speed Lance Armstrong types?

The only thing that would be an issue I know of (aside from not having the continual 2nd income) is that her family has their annual Memorial Day picnic. Can't cross a bunch of Italian Catholics, you know. :P

Its Harley and Rice burner week. I hope you can make it at some time in there. :)

Ah, they don't phase me. :) But I can imagine the area being congested. The only other thing I need to budget for so far next year is that one of her cousins is getting married, but we haven't figured out if it is somewhere in FL or off the coast of Biloxi ... and that's in April.

Just calculated; Myrtle Beach is an 11 hour drive ... if driving the speed limit. :P

Nah, they aren't a real bother, and it can be somewhat enjoyable. But it is highly congested and hotel rooms are incredibly expensive during that time. Woodraven and I pin pointed the date by looking up rates on hotels, it goes down drastically after those weekends. If you guys share a hotel, and we hit the grocery store and cook instead of eatting out alot it won't be too expensive at all. We aren't planning a big go out weekend, mostly just a hang out and have fun weekend. I am trying to get my in laws or parents to take the kids for at least one night during that weekend.

Low key & relaxation is fine by me. But we'd likely explore the area due to not being there previously. But I know my woman would want to go, but would want to indulge in things non-gamer related. Luckily, she's not a girly-girly but still female nonetheless. :P

There is plenty to do, and not so expensive. I can take her around a bit too. Closer to time to come we could discuss things you would like to see/do. :D

FB is fun! I love it. When you get all set up send me a friend request. My name is on y profile page here.
Going to take a nap while kids are quiet, I get the feeling it won't last too long. :D

HEAH HAHAHAH.

I love the sleeping shot. And the name too, BTW. I wrote my undergrad honors thesis on Blake.

You're the first that stated publicly (and correctly I may add) where I got the name from. It's hard to decide what I like more; the art or the literature.

I knew I recognized the name, but could not place it.

~sigh~

=) now I will have to look it up again.

Solnes, you got my e-mail I hope.

How was your night at work?

taig wrote:

I did indeed and thank you so very much. I am trying to work on the one due today without peeking at your answers. No worries...Hubby keeps me honest. :)

Work was people busy, but money slow. Everyone wanted help, but didn't actually wanna buy anything. The night was saved by a last minute very large purchase. Made the boss happy, and me late getting home. Ah well...
I am looking forward to hopefully soon being able to get a day job more in line with my chosen field of study. Day care, tutoring...something along those lines. I am tired of workig at night and not being here for supper and kids bed times.

Taig, how is your weekend? Still slow and enjoyable?
How far apart are we? Close enough for us to meet half way and enjoy a day out and about?

I'm guessing that there's a lot of them being nervous trying to explain why they're purchasing something? Drop the facade, folks ... you know where you stepped into, right? So if you want the tub of KY and the blow-up ewe, that's your perogative, right? :P

I think we're about 6-7 hours apart. It might be doable.

The weekend is still going pretty slow. My wife had to work today, so that's no fun for her. She was going to go in yesterday, but the road conditions were not favorable.

Hopefully, you don't have to work tonight.

Road conditions suck up here in Ahia too. Luckily my neighbor across the street was being kind and put his snowblower to action on my driveway. Need to find the means to make it a consistent service.

There are a few that are shy. I work best with them. I am pretty out going and can get them to relax.

My faves are the ones who pretend they are shopping for someone else.

Technically I don't work tonght. But I am going to do a lil cleaning for a friend of mine while she is out of town.

We should try and plan something for a day trip. I am inpatient and don't wanna wait till May. :D
