I wanna play! I mostly got Star Wars, but I got about 10 of that ninja dude that I got at Big Lots for $1 each.

Gonna rough house with the bulldog. Gettin' the look that someone's bored and potentially destructive. BBL

While I'm sure there will be some gaming going on (and I plan to bring a couple of fun, easy-to-play, kinda-geeky games), I think this is just a chance to enjoy each other's company and visit. So, no worries on that front...

But is your woman coming along? :P

Nah, someone has to stay home with the kids. :)

I really don't give a flying toot who gets top of the page.

The idea of round robin story telling just popped into my head. Maybe a tape recorder and/or camcorder so we can take the mamory of it home.

Nice slip there, TAD. :)

Loved Gambit in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Oops. I thought he was a little too "pretty", and the scene where they introduced him was kinda lame. But that's just me.

That and the whole floating cards thing. They coulda done better casting him, he wasn't rougish at all IMO, just kinda metro-sexual like. :/

Wade Wilson on the other hand was a good casting. :)

Don't even get me started on Deadpool though... :/

Evening folks. Present wrapping is really no fun ... :P

Taig it is May right? Or am I wrong. :/

As far as I know, it's still May. We'll need to coordinate with everyone so we can maximize the chaos.

All right, what the heck is happening in May?
A mini-FaWTL!!! gathering over in Myrtle Beach.

I wish I would have known about this sooner. I'm gonna make my best effort to get there. Maybe someone won't mind splitting a room fee with me?

I'm gonna tell my mom that I want to go to Myrtle Beach for my birthday. Never been to South Carolina before.

I was thinking of getting a room nearby because I am allergic to cats and cigarette smoke. If I do so, I will be glad to split the room with you.

I'll be getting a room too, because I'm allergic to cigarette smoke. Maybe we can get a suite somewhere. Moorluck can tell us which hotels are pest-free. :)

What's mamory? Some sort of vaporware?

I don't think we'll be playing the last one. At least not as a group. :)

I admit, XMOW being my first exposure to Deadpool, I love the idea of the character, but his exposure in the film is ridiculous.

Moorluck, Jester... my friend's Gold Dragon is up on my wall if you guys can access it. :)

Oh, and after that's done... I can finally summon either my own Dragon, or another Sea Serpent (Either Emerald or Sapphire)... any suggestions?

Given that Deadpool runs a close second The Flash as my favourite comic character, I was thoroughly disappointed with his treatment in the movie.

The only redeeming features at all were that Ryan Reynolds as Wade was awesome and the secret snippet from the trailer when he breaks the 4th wall. :)

I'm not that good, and alcohol plays hob with my reflexes and coordination.

I'm the household master of present wrapping. And I don't need to be inebraited to hold that title.

It means that they interact directly with the audience, be they reader or watcher. Deadpool does it all the time in his comics and it was a nice nod for it to occur in the movie.

Okay, that makes a hell of a lot more sense. Thanks!

OK, enough procrastinating, back to wrapping. Flash, Bethany will need a bit of updating. You have an angel chasing her down. Cheers.

These are all the older big GI Joes, I modified one of them to look like The Punisher, and painted a white skull on his flack jacket. :)

But hell yeah you can play! Ask Sharoth, he had a blast with the kids. :)

Evening, folks.

I just watched Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer and for some reason I really liked the movie.

Go figure.

Kids are in bed, time for some shows before bed. G'night folks.

So how is everyone? We just went out to dinner with my mother. I had some delicious scallops with a goat cheese/bacon sauce. Fantastic.

And I got some early Christmas presents, including some CDs I really wanted and Julia Child's cookbook.

BTW, I hope all the folks in the Northeast on the coast in the path of that storm are doing okay. I'm far enough inland that it's not going to hit here (although it's f&#+ing cold, but what else is new?)

Cool. I'm glad you enjoyed dinner and your visit. Congrats on resisting the urge to post.

It was pretty quiet around here until about 8. Then we had a big burst of activity. It seems like it's quieted down again.

That is good to hear. I personally have no intention of returning. It took too long for me to make a good post and not making a good post was annoying to me. So, it was a labor that wasn't fun.

I just thought to add this because I believe you gave a (nice and civil) response to my bowing out post and I had never taken the opportunity to give my appreciation. I almost added a post (after bowing out...) for that purpose but that would have meant returning... :)

So, I added it now.

I'm fine but bored. Finishing up my Christmas shopping took far longer than I anticipated today and so by the time I made it to Atlantis Comics all my players had just set up and started a six person game of War Machine. So, no Pathfinder DMing for me today but I starting thinking about some stories I thought of writing before and rehashed some of that.

We seem to have goten a little snow.

And oh, I watched Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer on Syfi.
