Anyway, how is everyone around here?
Sorry you have to work on a weekend. If you don't mind my asking, what kind of work do you do?
And, hello TAD!

Bananas Foster Bars
Servings: 16 2-inch bars
Ingredients:
Bars:
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
1 cup dark brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 tablespoon dark rum or 1 teaspoon rum extract
1 cup flour
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup bananas, diced
1/2 cup (2 ounces) pecans or walnuts, chopped
Frosting:
2 tablespoons unsalted butter at room temperature
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
4 tablespoons light brown sugar
1 teaspoon rum or pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 to 2 cups confectioners’ sugar, sifted
Cooking Directions:Bars:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly butter and flour 9-inch square pan*.
In large bowl, beat together butter and sugar with electric mixer until creamy. Add egg and rum; mix to combine.
In small bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt; gradually add to butter mixture. Mix in bananas and pecans; stir to incorporate. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
Frosting:
In large bowl, combine butter, cream cheese, sugar and extract with an electric mixer. Beat until light and fluffy. Add cinnamon and 1 cup confectioners’ sugar; blend until smooth (careful; over mixing will cause separation). Add additional confectioners’ sugar to create desired consistency.
Spread frosting immediately over cooled bars. Cover and store bars in refrigerator for up to 3 days. When ready to serve, cut bars into 2-inch squares.
*For a thicker bar, use an 8-inch square pan.

Missed this earlier. Sorry.
It's been pretty quiet. We've been home-bound for the day, partly because of the roads and mostly because of the less-than-competent people on the roads.
I hope your weekend is going well.

I am really tired of the wife being gone all night. She's gone to work again, we need the two incomes but damnit I'll be glad when she gets her degree and certification and can start teaching. It'll be nice to have her home everynight.
I'm sure that was how my wife felt when I was working nights for all those years. Somedays I wish I could go back to it and not deal with the nonsense that my kids crank out on a regular basis.

Oh well, we does what we has to does, right. ;)
On the up side whilst she slept today I nailed down the effects of the other two magic wines, I'll share after Solnes the druid PC has discovered them for herself. Would'nt want to give the wife to many hints as to what I have in store for her. I'm gonna be sad to see this group finish up the campaign, they've been more fun to play than any group of PCs in a very long time.

Coincidentally, while the woman was in surgery, I had my laptop up and runnin' on the hosptial's Wi-Fi network and was showing her mother that site. She almost pee'ed herself and suggested that I move on after the first thirty or so pictures ... because some of them may have been in the waiting room w/ us. :D

Ooooooh more fodder for my Castle Age army. :D
What's Castle Age? She's wanting me to join Mafia Wars, but man I already have enough things drawing my attention. Only main reason I bought this laptop so that I could be in the same room w/ her instead of sequestering myself in the den. She better be careful what she wishes for. LOL

Yeah Solnes, Lynora, and myself went through that site last night, I'm pretty sure we all saw at least one that could have been someone we know. :P

Haha! I tried to avoid the complete inclusive, else someone is going to prove me wrong by pointing to a five second block where nothing insane is going on.

Sort of like Mafia Wars, but with a little more options, and a fantasy theme. Many of us Paizonians are allied together, especially Flash and me, we often help eachother out with the monster battles.

I'm sure there's something insane going on somewhere on the property at all times of the day.
I saw your comment on the sock puppet thread. I take it the woman didn't mind when you told her what BttH meant. :)

Yeah... the stuff she can bring home will be the only thing I miss when she starts teaching. But then we can take the whole Naughty Schoolteacher thing to a whole new level. ;)
