Well, she's busy folding laundry and my dog is trying to help her. LOL

Is that a theory where you state "I have a theory" without stating what the theory is, someone is going to ask you about it?

WHAT IS IT?????

Check your FB messages my friend.

You know, nobody ever sends me facebook messages. :(

Oops. It depends on the ballpark and whether the hot dogs are good there.

I did a little poking around, and my guess is that you're sitting on the second row in the stands behind the third baseman.

Not a fan of hot dogs.

Oooh. Third base! Guess I'll settle for that until I get off my arse and come up with a FB account so I can sit behind home plate. :D

Spidey senses went off given inconsistencies on the timeline, so it wasn't hard to propose such a conspiracy theory.

I'm off to try to be productive with my writing.

You gentlemen hold down the fort. I'll be back later today.

OOoh, no. Prefer devil's food. Sausage biscuits and waffles sound good right about now. Maybe the dog will have better luck if he gives her the 'begging for food' face.

It's looking like peanut butter stuffed pretzels and hershey's kisses from yesterday evening and then a hot shower. I'm getting the look that we need to get on the road home here soon.

Hold down the fort and keep up the depravity in my absence. :D

Tired. But the nose seems to be healing now, so I don't feel like I've got an icepick through my face anymore. (Bryce accidentally smashed my nose during a tantrum night before last. Didn't quite break it, but bruised it real bad.)

We went driving around to look at the Christmas lights last night. Bryce thought it was the most awesome thing, especially since he got to stay up real late. It was a welcome respite for me, too, since good lord the child got wild as the meds wore off, and getting him focused on something that didn't involve throwing a fit or running around like mad was a good thing.

The Exchange

Sorry it's been a rough couple of days. Sounds like last night was pretty nice though, I do enjoy looking at lights. I still havn't got mine up yet.... just can't seem to get in the 'spirit'. Oh well, the kids are jazzed now that we have the tree up and our gifts under it... except for the Santa ones.

I don't have to worry about the whole Santa thing since we pretty much told Bryce from the get-go that Santa was just a story. Which suits him just fine. Honestly, this kid is so intent on separating fact and fiction that telling him that flying reindeer were real would have caused him to have a mental breakdown. :)

But since we have doggies, presents don't go under the tree until Christmas Eve.

The Exchange

I can get that. I love the 'Santa' deal though, Solnes bakes cookies with the kids on Christmas Eve, oatmeal raisin, and then they leave those and a can of Barqs' root beer out on a plate. I get to eat them and then 'Santa' leaves a note on this old vellum style paper I keep just for that. I'm gonna be heartbroken when Kellen finally figures it out. :/

The Exchange

That said I think I'm gonna declare nap time in the Moore household. Catch you folks later. :)

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

Have a nice nap!

Hello, Lynora. Sorry to hear your last couple of days have been rough.

We used to do the Santa thing, but that's behind us now with our youngest child being 13 years old now. :)

You know who I haven't seen around here in a long time: Gark and Twin Dragons. I know Gark pops in from time to time, but TD just kinda left. Moorluck, did you scare him off?

Twin Dragon's having some computer troubles, and he said he probably won't be back until mid January over in the pbp he was starting.

Thanks, Davi! I worried that we ran him off. :)

That reminds me, when I was but a lil kid my two favorite songs were Iron Man and Leroy Brown. I would listen to them over and over on the eight track player...Hey, wait a minute. I just hinted at my age. Oh well, I don't think I am too much older than a lot of other posters aroud here. :-)

I think I'm older than you, by a little bit.

Emperor 7 is the wizened sage of this thread, IIRC. :)

True, I shouldn't have left out that there are more than likely some who are older than me also. Some such as yourself and the venerable Emperor 7.

:-)

Uhm, I am only 27, I think that makes me one of the younger ones. But apparently old enough to be a Ma'am. :\

At least the book I brought seems to be a good one. Orphans of Chaos. One of the ones that The dragon left for me to read.

Silver Crusade

Ugh. Such a miserable cold... I'm taking a nap.

Silver Crusade

Oh, but first a couple of updates on things I posted about a while back:

First:
I posted a couple of weeks ago about Phil, a member of my tabletop group, whose mom has been in the hospital with pneumonia and they weren't sure if she was going to make it. Today they referred to her as "recovering in the hospital" which sounds a lot more promising to me. I'm glad to hear that.

Second:
I posted a link to a couple of news articles a while back about my friend Christine who had been murdered by her husband Tim (I was friends with both of them). I am singing with the choir for her memorial service on Wednesday, and it sounds like they are anticipating a lot of people being there. Tim has been indicted, and our pastors have been to see him in jail. Obviously he's in a horrible place, and they have him in solitary confinement because he is on a round-the-clock suicide watch. People are still coming to terms with all of it.

Good news on the first item, and I really don't know what to say about the second item. I don't think I could sing in a choir at a memorial service.

I do hope you get over your cold soon.
