Doing well, listening to some jazz tunes (a holiday mix I burned), sipping a glass of whiskey an netting on my laptop while warming myself up by the fire. All in all, it's a relaxing evening.

Its been a wonderful day. My new ( to us ) furniture is so nice. And the tree smells wonderful :)
When I was much younger my parents would buy a fresh pine tree to put in the living room the first Weekend in December. When I was 13 my parents decided to buy a fake tree. I miss the smell of a good Christmas tree.
And my day was great. Tomorrow shopping for hubby's gifts. I can't wait! Now to figure out a way to get the kids to realize that the gifts are a surprise and not to tell daddy what we bought. :)
I'm hoping that Santa will leave a strapping young man under the tree for me this year.

We have had a fake tree for the last 5 years, I was so ready for the real one! And teh guy was so sweet and wouldn;t let hunny pay. :)
