Favorite new feat

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Hi all i was wondering now the book has been out a few days what your favorite new feat is.

Personally there are many but so far i like lunge.

I think this has the potential to be pretty awesome when its combined with some of the other new ones that have come out.

Bleeding Critical. Since it stacks, load into the enemy and get the hell outta there. Unless he has any healing, he's done for it.

I personally think this should probably be fixed, but if you take Catch Off-Guard and use hammers (as in normal ones used to pound in pitons) you can sneak attack with every attack. As it allows you to deny your target their dex bonus when you attack them with an improvised weapon. A hammer can be used as an improvised weapon that deals blunt damage equivalent to a spiked guantlet.

Arcane Armor Training/Mastery. I think it's amazing that we've had to wait 9 years for such an obvious feat to be added to 3.x core rules. Thank you Paizo!

It only works against unarmed targets. If you want an easy way to sneak attack your target, take Shatter Defenses which allow you to sneak attack any shakened target.

There are many great new feats in the book, but my favorite is probably Arcane Strike since it makes melee and archer bards useful (without the need of noncore feats like knowledge devotion or snowflake wardance).

Extend Spell is still my favorite feat.

Grand Lodge

Favorite NEW feat? Well, none of them really tickle my fancy.

Master Craftsman, I guess. Finally, the fighter can make his own magic sword, without having to beg the wizard to do it.

In fact I know a certain fire giant in Shackled City that could use that feat...

Where does it state this? I'd be glad if that's the case since otherwise it seems a bit broken to me. But I haven't been able to find myself, where it says an improvised weapon only works against unarmed targets.

Edit: ok duh, found it in Catch Off-Guard, apparently my read-fu is weak as I didn't notice that part.

I have to go with Vital Strike. This is just pure coolness!

Deadly Aim

or maybe

Double Slice

Catch off guard is the wizard killer feat for rogues :)

Catch off guard and Throw Anything are my two favorite new feats.

Step Up.

"Silly Fighter! You cannot defeat me when I take but a few steps back from you!"

"Heh..." *steps forward*

"NO! How DARE YOU DO THAT! I am going to pummel you!"

"You can try, lets see how your concentration holds up to a sword in the face..."
