Num-Rah |

~Conquering his mistrust of the rogue, Num-Rah reaches to his backpack~ "You are wounded. I can not tend your wounds yet - my god has not blessed me with the healing touch - but drink some water. You should get your wounds taken care of as soon as possible. And eat something. You've lost blood."

Num-Rah |

Kieran begins to tell you about his encounter with the assassin, giving the unconcious man a nudge with his boot. He also details the mysterious globe that seems to hold images of all of you.
"Perhaps we should find this Vagger Nulus and put him to the question... I dislike this globe-thing as well."

~looks interested at the mention of the globe~ I would like to see that.

Kieran Del'gerr |

Sorry for taking so long, moving, have intermittent internet access.
He takes the water and takes a drin. "Thanks." Kieran says to the Litorian, and realizes that he'd lost more blood than he'd thought. The Half-Elf looks over to the large Skald and addresses him, "Hey, I've heard that some bards possess some healing magic, you wouldn't happen to have any you could spare for me would ya?"

Ilona Ebonblade |

Ilona smiles at the thug,"Just a job huh? There's a lottta money changing hands over one little tavern girl, now I'll ad mit she's cute but still I don't get it."
She pushes the man's shoulders back gently, making him sit upright in the chair and slowly straddles his lap facing him.
"So tell you what, You're going to tell me everything you knw about this whole thing....." As she speaks she makes a quick arcane pass with her hand, whispering a syllable and stopping with her palm up, a swirling mass of green fluid hovering and twitching an inch above her open hand, shuddering to be released by her will.
"Or I'm gonna melt your face...okay?"
She smiles sweetly into the thugs eyes.

"Aye, I do, twisty one!" Ulven moves over toward the rogue and examines the wound. As he begins to speak, his hands move and begin to glow with a healing light. "In the Northlands we speak of the Norns, the spirits of women whose men never came home from the raids. It is said that they come to the songs of men who hurt, infest the wounds and heal the hurts as they could never heal their own. There. Better?"

"Oh I suppose so...he doesn't like it when we break promises."
Sighing she gets off the thug's lap and turns her back winking at Num-ra, "I never get to have any fun."
"I said I shall reward him. Never did I mentioned what shall that reward be." Num-Rah grabs the man and lifts him in the air. "I do not know what passes as justice in this scum-filled den, and I find myself not caring. But in my homeland justice is harsh as glacier storms. Choose the hand!"

Kieran Del'gerr |

Kieran raises an eyebrow, catching on, "Harsh is right." He shakes his head, thinking in all likelihood that it would be more merciful to kill the man. Without some powerful magic that the thug likely couldn't afford, he'd probably lead an even more miserable existence than he currently enjoyed, probably unable to find any work except possibly begging. Such a man was doomed to starve to death in the streets.

Num-Rah |

Num-Rah throws the would-be assassin on the flor. "Someone tend his wounds, or he shall die before he tells everything he knows." Litorian turns to Ilona. "I am in need of cleansing. Take care of him - with acid if needs be." Num-rah walks out the door and descends to the street. Although he doesn't show it, the violence of the city, which seeped in him, deeply disturbs him.

Kieran Del'gerr |

The half-elf notices Adrianna's discomfort and nods, his expression showing that he's not much one for cruelty. While not adverse to killing when necessary, he see no point in not getting such ugly work done as quick and painlessly as possible. "Yes please just tell us everything, I'd really like to avoid having to clean your blood off everything in my room." But at the same time, a suitably cold sarcastic comment at the right moment might just break their prisoner that much farther.

Ulven Dragonskin |

"In the north we have a saying: 'A man will speak truth when the weasel begins eating his privates!' In the North we take a man, tie his shirt and pants closed and place an ice weasel in his pants. When the weasel bites it closes its jaws and will not let go until the thaw comes. Men who face the weasel do not tell lies. Shall I fetch a suitable animal from the markets? Perhaps a rat? I saw some likely candidates on the way here. They appeared diseased."

Ilona Ebonblade |

Ilona looks at the man, sure that he is telling the truth.
"If you leave this city right now you get to live, but you attacked ou friend here, and that will not go unaccounted for. I'm going to brak your thumbs, you won't lift a weapon against anyone for a while, but the alternative is death."
She lookhim in the eyes and in a cold voice she speaks,"Stretch out your hands, and bite down on the rope."

He slowly stretches out his hands. Closing his eyes, he whispers "I will be gone by sunrise", before biting down on the rope.

Out on the street, Litorian decides to go and visit the weaponshop of that powerful male of his kind. Perhaps he would know of some bladesmith looking for apprentice.
Looking across the Square, you note that the weapon smiths shop is closed, as the hour now is very late. Perhaps a trip there in the morning may be a good idea.

Ilona grasps his thumbs and twists them bacwards in a quick movement until they snap. Anyone watching very closely can see there is no enjoyment for her in this.
She looks the thug in the eyes,"That would be very smart of you, now get out of here."
I'm assuming with a strength of 17 and no resistance a roll isn't really required.

Ilona Ebonblade |

"Well I'd say we should get settled in then figure it out over a decent meal, besides, I really need a bath now."
Ilona gives a small shuddering expression.
"Kieran, think you can find out a little more about those names he gave us? You seem to do pretty well with the...shadier types"
