My group is planning to start the next adventure path with brand new Pathfinder RPG characters etc. and go 100% Pathfinder RPG at that point, which I am VERY excited about.
My question is ... what exactly is know at this point about the new AP? Is there any info available yet? Do we know when the Player's Guide will be available?
Do we have any kind of time table on when more info we be forthcoming?
Thanks!!!

OK, I did a little digging on the site and pretty much answered my own question ...
The next AP (and the first one using the new core rules) is Council of Thieves:
http://paizo.com/pathfinder/adventurePath/councilOfThieves
It takes place mostly in Cheliax, and comes out in August, which of course coincides with the August release date of the new Rules and the August release date of Pathfinder Companion: Cheliax, Empire of Devils:

So ... do we know anything else at this point? Does the Player's Guide come out in August as well or does that come out earlier?

Linkified the links and if the prior APs are any guideline, the Player's Guide should come out at the same time as the first installment of the AP.
The Player's Guide is now supposed to be a free PDF available here, more along the lines of the original two for Runelords and Crimson Throne, rather than the larger booklets/Companion books that came out for Second Darkness and Legacy of Fire. That allows Paizo to give us more depth in the Companions for the area or whatever they feel is needed, and still give us key information that is important for the AP and is truly player oriented and safe :)

Here's the current product release schedule:

Holy Cats! July is going to be an expensive month! Two Chronicles, two modules, one AP and one companion. Can't wait though. :-)

Thanks James, SKR etc!
So, is this going to be more of an urban, city based AP? It sort of looks like that from the initial write ups ...
Although there will be many smallish dungeons, a few trips about an hour or two outside of the city wall, and at least one weird extradimensional romp... the entire adventure takes place more or less within the confines of the map of the city of Westcrown and its immediate environs.
It's more urban than was Curse of the Crimson Throne, in other words, which had 4 of its 6 adventures set in a city. This one has 6 of 6 adventures set in a city (or within sight of the city walls).

To me August looks even worse. In July it is spread out a bit from the beginning of the month and some at the end of the month. The August ones all come out at the beginning of the month.

Very cool, hopefully lot of RPing situations as well. Aka getting around problems with charm and words than brawn and steel.

Good that you found some info.
Furthermore, if you haven't read this thread on a supposed society for Cheliax HERE, I suggest giving it a read - as I found it quite enlightening on how a society devoted to a LE Devil lord would be like which we can use to help spice up the campaign.

Well, I'm technically sad about the loss of print copies, but since I'm cheap and they're going back to being free, I think I can deal with it.
Also, a completely-urban campaign? Yay!
The player's guides will be free. They'll also only be 4 to 8 pages long, since we no longer have to use them to re-introduce the game world anymore since we've got books out now that do that. Print versions would be kinda a waste at that size...

Sold! I'm certain to pick up the set as well as the companion and the Princes of Darkness supplement.
Question about this last book: it's labeled Volume 1 which implies additional volumes. What can you tell us about it or the series and will any of it tie into the Council of Thieves AP?

It will tie in to the Council of Thieves AP indirectly, in the same way "Into the Darklands" tied in to Second Darkness. As in: it won't be required to play, but if you want to take your game more down that road (in this case, upping the devil stuff in the AP), then the book will be very helpful.
And yes, there is an implication of additional volumes. Nothing we've announced yet, though.
