Gary has done a lot to cut down on the back-door smurfings. You can't put "smurf" in the URL tags anymore, and so on.

I helped them roll up characters last week and they really enjoyed that. I ended up with Robrick, the human paladin, Phineas the half-elf wizard, and Perry the half-orc barbarian. I nee to role up a DMPC tha fills the leader role, but I'm not sure what class to use.

I'd recommend warlord. I think they'll get a kick out of seeing all the cool ways a healer/buffer can contribute to the party.
