Well, I have to go. My husband is taking me out to lunch and then I have to go grocery shopping. Try not to burn the place down while I'm gone. :)

Is it odd that I get disproportionately irritated by posts that lack punctuation?

Dang, sounds like he's already got a decent BAB despite his size penalties .... a tribute to your good care giving him plenty of vigor, I'd say! =) Sorry to hear about your incoming 'fat lip,' though :( ....

Personally I prefer rhubarb, but cherry pie is good.
Peach is great, and so is pecan and pumpkin. :)
I can't argue with any of those. Although I prefer pumpkin cheesecake to pumpkin pie. It's too bad you don't live close or I'd make some grape pie for you. It's awesome! :)
Mmm, I have never had grape pie. That sounds good. Yeah, we are looking to move in the next two years, and your hubby has invited us to move to your neck of the woods. :)

consider that invitation seconded. :)

Although I should warn you that I tend to inflict yummy baked goods on my friends. Seriously, people complain. Something about diets..pshah.

LOL, well, we aren't sure where we are going, but the baked goods sure are tempting.

We live in a very "me" oriented society these days, and the idea of putting someone else's needs before your own is not a popular one anymore, and is in fact alien to a lot of people.

I have a lot more respect for a couple who realizes that they would be bad parents and therefore does not have kids than I do for a couple that has kids because that's "what they are supposed to do" and resents every minute of it. That fact is, no child should be born to parents that don't want them. Even if their motivations are self-serving, I wouldn't be the one to tell that couple on the plane to change their minds.

I agree with you. While I can't understand not wanting to be parents, I can respect those that realize that and do not bring unwanted children into this world.

Oh I agree completely. There are some people ho should not have kids, including a few in my own family. I was simply using the example to illustrate how to some people the idea of putting someone elses needs before your own is an alien concept.

Ann Arbor isn't listed on this site, but Detroit gets 41.1 inches per year and Flint gets 44.9.

Rochester, NY gets 92.3.

More than double.

Wait, why am I bragging about that?

The average temperature is colder in Michigan, though.

Morning everyone!

Apple pie with chocolate ice cream is my absolute favorite.

Unfortunately, Solnes, there are people who have children who are no where near equipped to have them, and they do awful things. And, like David said, there are people out there who have no moral compunctions and do evil, evil things. It's like they formed without a soul and somehow slipped onto this world.

I feel like crap today, so I called in sick. Probably a lot of bed rest for me, but at least the puppy can be out of her kennel while I'm home.

Oh, yeah.

This is kinda spider icky:
Yesterday, we were giving some wooden boards away to a friend, and I'm not sure how, but in the less than two months of laying up against the fence they somehow managed to support a colony of at least 10 black widow spiders.

Not if you make her fail her SAN check. Hmmm, do you think she'd make a good Harlequinn to your Joker?

David Fryer wrote:
I call it my just for Moorluck recipe. Lasgana taste for people who are to lazy to take the time to make lasagna.

Sounds good enough to make me salivate for it. I'd probably use more mozzarella and add smoked paprika, but that's just my personal preferences.

Quick example of what I mean. My sister has three kids with two different guys. She has lost custody of all of them. She iscurrently living with her second ex-husband while in the process of divorcing her third husband. She has never even made a move to get her kids back since she lost custody. My brother and sister-in-law decided that it ould be better for our nephews to grow up in a family rather than being shuttled back and forth from house to house; so they sued for custody of her nine year old and won. They would love to take in the other two, but don't hae the resources right now. My sisters response was "what, you can't have kids of your own, so you are going to steal mine instead?"

Did you see it on Amazing Race last night? I swear, I could've down the wasabi bomb in 20 seconds. I would've been in great pain, but it would be gone.

Yeah, but I would have sucked at herding ducks.

Edit: Of course I go through two or three tubes of wasabi a month, so...

Also the link worked for me. Try this one.

How in the ever loving hell is my freaking electric bill 245.00 for one freaking month? This is getting a bit insane, I am going to move out of this area just to get away from this electric company. Serioulsy, I live in a single wide mobile home, my ac is set at 78, and we don't run alot of lights and such. I wonder how expensive it is just to have generators. GRRRRRRRRRR!!! Crap, and its due this Friday, I only have half of that! And no, they won't give me another week. I am so sick of this freaking company!

Yeah... That would've been MUCH easier with a shotgun and some orange sauce. :D

AC doesn't run all the time, and i would have figured that if it was that then it would have been higher in July or Aug. When its hottest.
