Today is kind of my busy day in RL, have my in person game day today. So I'll probably be following posts for the next hour or two and then won't be around to check again until fairly late PST.
Not a problem. Everyone was eager to get going on this over the past week, so I've been posting up a storm to get the story rolling.

I'm certainly enjoying this as well. I'm starting to wonder with my horrible streak of knowledge checks if I have to develop a different side to my character. Maybe he is the very book smart sort, but he doesn't handle pressure well and seems to forget a lot of his stored knowledge when its being called for. Hopefully(dice willing) this is something he'll overcome.

I was looking at my online profile (AKA character sheet). Do I get a destiny point for Groodar or do I have to choose an actual destiny to get one of them?
You had me choose a secret destiny for you, so you do have a destiny, you just don't know what it its . . . meaning, yes, you have a destiny point.

Hey knight I noticed you were on the d20radio forums. Do you listen to the Order 66 podcast? Great stuff!
Also, I just noticed the sporting blaster pistol only gets a measly 6 shots from an energy cell. Woah! I should have bought extras or a power pack for it. What a newb I am.

I wanted to post seriously as a follow up and you made me laugh you bag of bolts, you win scene stealer of the day dude.

Dude, that made my day! HK-47 is my absolute favorite part of KOTOR and any chance to play an homage to him is well worth it!

It is going to be interesting to be playing with the droid, he is so the opposite of my character in a lot of ways. I don't see my character having a lot of sense of humor and he's certainly quite far from the homicidal maniac too. It will be fun to see him playing out with the different jedi too.

I think we have moved far enough into this campaign that I should surrender dice rolling privledges. I'm pretty sure invisible castle has something against me at this point.
But think of it this way . . . if this keeps up, statistically you are due for a string of natural 20s whenever you get to Darth Campaignkiller at 20th level . . . ;)

HK-47 was huge in that game, he was a permanent party member once I got him. He was one of the few I couldn't remove from my party due to his colorful attitude.
They didn't do him justice in KOTOR2 either, which was a shame. That games ending though still bothered me.

Ceelell Bendon |

Well I think a big part of what killed KOTOR 2's ending was that the game was rushed a great deal out the door and the end suffered for it. The last planet was actually designed to be a really big thing with all sorts of elements to it that should have added to the game, but they weren't quite finished when it was getting pushed out so they got chopped. If you have it on PC rather then Xbox there are actually some mods out there where people have tried to restore all the content that is on the disk but never was used to make the game as they think it was meant to be. Lots of skins and terrain and dialogue was already there, it just wasn't put in place.

first roll for me was a 1, but the second was a 20. Them castle dice are a fickle bunch of dice for sure.

I was always bothered in KOTOR 2 that they never finished HK's sidequest involving the duplicates. From what I've read that sidequest would have you go back to the Telos military base and find the droid factory producing the HK-50s there.
I remember that HK mentioned the factory, and I guess on the disc is content for the factory too, but you can't ever get there as it was indeed cut. I'll have to look into the PC versions and mods to replay the games. I had both on xbox, so no mods there. kotor1 though is still awesome.
I hope the new bioware mmo takes a lot of material from them on lightsaber construction, robes and style, and combat moves. I have faith in bioware to do it right though.

I Love HK-xx's!
I couldn't help but try to capture HK-22, he is a borther in arms after all.
HK-22 Voices In case I broke a link, before i had a chance to fix it.
p.s. I also apologize I couldn't "MP3" them, I used beta software and it marked them somehow un-editable, I will resolve this programing flaw in the future.
p.p.s. please consider this an application to be on your waiting list, meatbag.

Hey everyone.
Patrick had let me know that he wouldn't likely be back on to check what was going on until after Sunday, so I didn't want to get too far ahead of him.
Since I'm checking in on everyone, I've got a question.
Does anyone mind me having their e-mail addresses, just so I have outside contact information (for example, if someone is out of contact for a few days, so I can make sure everything is alright).
I know its far too easy for a pbp to loose steam, and at least knowing when potential gaps in participation might help to offset "drift," and it never hurts to have another point of contact beyond the boards.
That having been said, I completely understand if anyone doesn't want to pass on your e-mail addresses.
If you don't mind me having them, you can send me a line at KnightErrantJR "at" gmail "dot" com, and just let me know who it is that is sending me the e-mail so I can get you added to the address book.
Thanks all.

So yeah, I was just listening to the Order 66 podcast, and they got to the episode where they talked about the Errata (I'm listening to them in order). And it appears that the Acrobatic Strike feat no longer gives a +5, but a +2 bonus. While this makes Aruuna a sad Jedi, I can live with it. Should I just take a force point off to make up for my earlier mistake?
Further, are we using all the latest Errata?

Don't worry about the Force point. I didn't even notice when it happened. I printed out the errata, but I didn't bother to check it, although now I've got the updated Saga book with the errata, so my lazy GM butt should do a better job noticing things of this nature.
But, yes, I'm trying to use the current errata, when I don't have a mental lapse and miss something.
Sorry about that.
