Does Awakanings offer any new races or classes to play as?

I pre-purchased it on Steam and have been playing it the last couple of days. It's pretty good stuff, but for some reason my game keeps crashing every 20-30 minutes at seemingly random intervals. I've managed to overcome this by just saving frequently, but it's still annoying.

I'm liking the new class specializations and a lot of the new skills and spells they added. My city elf rogue is now an Assassin/Duelist/Shadow. Fun stuff!

Id rather see the Morrigun thing get resolved in a full blown sequel rather than an expansion.

Just got around to installing it today...

Beginning isnt too bad so far. Picked up the Stormchaser Helm and a mundane Warden Longsword for now, being stuck with a normal bow when I was maxxed with weapon/shield skills sucked. They should have let us import all our gear from the original game.

Thank god Mhairi is a defensive type of warrior, until I picked up a melee weapon I had her tanking as much as possible.

Overall I didnt realize how much I missed playing Dragon Age.
