From a pipe in the wall next to Livvy, the second slime mold shoots out forwards towards where Norn and Erizi were stood and lands in congealed mess before it starts to head back to the doorway where Livvy stands with hands of fire ready.
Livvy roll damage please and the mold has failed its Ref save.

Livvy Goldenscale |

Livvy urns a hole into the vegetable matter, leaving only a charred flagstone behind. The mold is gone.
What is the status of the one that Norn was striking? If it still moves, Livvy will try to burn it, as well.
If necessary,
Otherwise, she just nods at Nombir's comment as she backs away. She's ten feet from the door before she turns around and jogs after the others.

I think that means everyone is following Erizi. Feel free to adapt what happens next if you have other ideas.
Erizi leads the party a merry dance, first up the stairs and out of the dormitory and then along the corridor which once had a baboon running for its life.
Soon the pit fighter is stood at the entrance to the overgrown courtyard, looking left and right. The square has one tree but the rest of it still has the thick grasses cacti and bushes all over.
Erizi

Erizi the Landless |

Erizi starts raging through the courtyard, pulling up bushes and weeds, kicking rocks aside, tearing into the ground with his dagger. He is almost foaming at the mouth as he intensely attacks the courtyard grounds...He is looking for something...

Shimei of Merraketh |

As Shimei charges up the stairs, he yells, "Dog! Stop Erizi!" The dog has never done anything Shimei has commanded, asked or begged for. It's not clear why Shimei would even bother wasting his breath.
***
As Erizi tears into the garden, Shimei pauses to catch his breath. Best, maybe to let him wear himself out.
FW, does Erizi's mold infested leg look anyworse?

Livvy Goldenscale |

Livvy's look echoes Norn's implication, but she moves into the courtyard. She keeps her distance from the frantic actions of the warrior lest she be hit by the debris he's creating. "Erizi! Erizi! Let us help! What do you seek?"
She will also cast her divination to see if he is under some sort of magical compulsion, as she expects, or something else. Detect Magic

Erizi the Landless |

"The Storm"! "Where is the storm"! Erizi screams as he tries to rip a tree out of the grounds by its roots.
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21

Erizi starts shaking the tree which scatters dozens of loose twigs and smaller branches everywhere. A fist sized egg spins away to smash against the stone walls. Then he spies the dog pulling at something in the undergrowth beneath the tree.
It looks at first like a larger branch. But then the dog manages to get a firm growling grip and out comes the black and glittering silver haft of a weapon.
Erizi

Erizi the Landless |

"The Tempest"! "The Storm"! "Shimei your useless mutt has uncovered the storm". Erizi shouts as his rage weans. He slumps wearily to the ground beneath the tree, sliding down the trunk with his back to it, and grasps the handle from the dog. (If the dog resists, Erizi will kick it away).
He tries to catch his breath wondering what had come over him, but he feels better with the weapon in his hand. He then notices that the mangy mutt is sniffing and licking at the back of his hands. "What is this"? Erizi questions briskly rubbing his hands trying to remove the strange substance.

Shimei of Merraketh |

Shimei motions for the others to stay back and edges closer to the gladiator-slave. "Erizi, are you all right now? You went mad when the fungus touched you." Shimei lays down his bow and steps closer, just a pace away from the slave. He looks appraisingly at Erizi.
Don't want to touch him yet. Although the dog not going nuts after licking him is a good sign. Just want to get a good look. I'll take 20 on perception if I can. If not use the roll below.
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

Nombir Kadesh |

"You're probably right about the contagion point! I was too busy thinking about stopping Erizi, so well pointed out". Nombir catches his breath and asks "does anybody know what's wrong with him?"
FW
Nombir will cast detect poison on Erizi to establish if it's still affecting him, if I'm allowed to?

FW ** spoiler omitted **
Nombir casts a small spell over Erizi.
Nombir

Erizi the Landless |

"I feel fine". "Just a little tired and a lot hungry", Erizi states giving Shimei a meaningful glance. "I don't know what happened, but I felt great...It was joyous, I was so powerful...I was the storm..."
"And this weapon look at it"! "The craftsmanship...The balance...It feels so light in my hands...I feel Like I could do anything with it". "Is it not grand"?
"And I owe it all to dog". "Shimei, Do you think this god of yours is working through your dog"? "Do you think he led me to this glorious weapon"? "If you reverse the letters of dog it becomes god".
"Let us go back...I could defeat an army of Baboons with this weapon". "he then reaches down and roughly pets the dog.

Norn Jural |

".........." Norn simply stands there giving an occasionally concerned glance to Livvy. Her pathfinder training hadn't really gone into how to handle giant gladiatorial warriors with huge weapons that had apparently gone off the deep end. Deciding she best give a responce she simply nods apparently agreeing with Erizi.

Shimei of Merraketh |

While Shimei listens to Erizi, he looks to see if Erizi's skin has improved. Shimei is very concerned. With Zsithremmini's departure, Erizi is the person Shimei identifies most closely with. Zaid and Nombir come from a different more learned and civilized world and he hasn't known the halflings long enough for any kind of relationship. So perhaps he can be forgiven for only listening with half an ear.
But Erizi's question about the dog draws Shimei's attention. He considers all the dogs who have accompanied him at one time or another in his travels. The yappy little shorthair that followed him from his village and hated gnolls even more than Shimei. He died charging the three gnolls who surprised them in camp one night in the foothills south of Solku. The big jackal with the black ruff who ran with him when he first stayed with the Badawi nomads. The big vulture with two heads took him rather than Shimei and flew away. The wirey hound, fleet as an antelope, who rushed to the spring to drink before Shimei and was bitten by the asp. And at least a dozen more.
"He is just a dog, and a stupid one at that. SUrely if he served the gods his coat would shine with their glamour, and his eyes glow with the light of their wisdom." Shimei shakes his head.
"You my friend, do you feel better now after the BOw-father's touch?"
FW, I had the dog dash into the garden for the puerile pleasure of perhaps watching Erizi dig through urine-soaked earth. I'm glad you used him for a nobler purpose.
What exactly is this weapon? Did I miss the description?
And did Erizi's moldy skin heal?

Tempest is a bit like Thor's Hammer, Mjolnir. It is a +1 magical weapon which gives off a strong aura of magic to Norn. The impressive shaft and head are black and glittering silvery diamond sparkles that swirl like a storm growing overhead.
Dog runs off after its none-to-gentle pummelling by Erizi and his hands remain green stained even after such healing.
And was it a trick of light or did Erizi's eyes flash red for the briefest instance when he ran up here? Maybe not.

Err do you mean Livvy.

Erizi the Landless |

Erizi is torn. He really wants to try out his new toy, but he wants to eat the roast baboon as well.
"Shiemi. Do you think I have time to go kill something before dinner is ready"?

Shimei of Merraketh |

Livvy looks back and forth among the original party members, "Did you say - did he say - roast ... baboon? What does roast baboon taste like?"
"Sometimes like the most succulent pork, sometimes like chicken, sometimes like old goat in ashes. Every time is different. Can you help gather wood?"
"Shiemi. Do you think I have time to go kill something before dinner is ready"?
"If you can find prey, yes. But many a hunt has ended with my belly empty and never the blessing of a quarry in sight."
Had a nice post about cooking that was eaten. I'll try again tonight.

She looks a little doubtful yet, but jumps up and starts gathering small branches and breaking them down to a manageable size for the fire. When Shimei begins his preparations, she will be back enough to be out of the way, but she's going to watch closely.

So Livvy is collecting wood in the courtyard, which makes sense, and Erizi wants to go hunting? There are three dead baboons in the monastery, the big one lies in the nave somewhere. Let me know if you're doing anything else, otherwise I shall move things along as you rest and recuperate, i.e. give Zaid a chance to relearn spells, perhaps?

Shimei of Merraketh |

Shimei goes to the nave to collect the big baboon. He drags it to the kitchen doorway. Looking in he decides it would be too much trouble to clean up. He continues on into the big hall with the statue where we first fought the baboons. He leaves the body by the south wall, carefully lays down his bow and gear, and strips off his outer robes and footwear.
Clad now in loose dirty (perhaps once white) shirt and trousers, pokes and prods at the three corpses. "Too tough ... too stiff ... just right." The biggest is his choice.
He uses his dagger to carefully eviscerate the baboon. He is careful to avoid cutting the intestines. He throws the offal unto one of the other corpses. "That is not fit for eating. Could someone take them out please? "
He slits the baboon's throat and props it over a bench to drain. "Better if we could bleed it overnight. Then he begins slicing the skin from the muscle and fat underneath. "Not as easy as a hare." As the hide comes off each limb, he cuts the sinews binding limb to body and leaves the parts propped up to drain. While he works he asks someone to start the fire and to get the big spit in the kitchen. By now blood coats his arms and hands and is soaking into the rolled up cuffs of his shirtsleeves.
He cuts the muscles from the limbs and torso and chops them into roughly equal-sized pieces. He runs a dozen of these unto the spit and, using the bench as a stand, lays the spit over the fire. The flames kiss the bottom of the meat.
"There." he says "Leave it a while and it will cook." Quite unconcerned he walks outside to find some sand and begin scrubbing the blood from himself.
The dog drags a chunk of liver into a corner and begins to nibble at it.

Livvy watches, noting how some of what he does is very familiar, but some is different, just because of the body shape of the creature.
When he straightens up and starts out of the room, she realizes what he's doing and tags along. "Shimei, if I may..." With his assent, she uses a cantrip Prestidigitation to clean the blood from his shirt. "Might be the best little trick I've learned -- how else could I keep my robe clean?
"Have you really cooked baboon before? You looked very certain as you worked, but your comments to yourself sounded like you were noticing some things for the first time."
