I run the the NYC weekly game day and we have 2-3 tables a week not bad but I got to thinking how can I draw more attention to our game day and the Pathfinder Society.
I noticed that Yahoo (I am sure Google does as well) has a section on the home page called Up Coming Events. It is free to add an entry and who knows it may just draw in people. I am still directing them to the Paizo site and my Yahoo group to sign up but at least it broadens my audience to not just word of mouth.
If you are looking to spread the word this is a free way to do it...

A yahoo group or meetup.com or other web based group can help greatly as well.
Personally we've used Y! groups for years to communicate and disseminate information.
Also you can set up a free gaming calender at warhorn.net.

Please don't sign up for games unless you plan to attend though. Not even Pathfinder is worth a trip from the coast to the desert.

Yeah. we're currently using a Yahoo group for internal mustering, but it's tough to get the word out about the group unless someone already knows about it. The combination of ex-LG players and new people being brought in monthly with regional meetups has made a pretty sizable group, but I agree that free advertising would be awesome. Great find, Crow81!
Also, warhorn is now linkified.
