You go HUGO!!!

~Grins~ Well, what have we here? An unexpected pun? Sorry!

Liberty's Edge Contributor

Woohoo! Very cool. Lilith and Hugo rock! So do all the other folks who are making this production come to life, but Lilith and Hugo are the top rockers...or something really cool, anyway.

Paizo Employee Director of Narrative

Top rockers, indeed!

Thanks for kicking ass, Hugo and Lilz!

You are so lucky that my optical mouse and web-browser conspired to spare you the errata report of spelling and punctuation errors I wrote of the post I quote above....

:D

Maybe we should send it to you for proofreading... ;)

Bit late for that this year. You can add me to the list for next year's 'now with 50% more' publication though, if I'm still around and posting. :)

Just a silly question. How is it that you guys are in position to make a magazine?

A combination of use of Paizo's Community Use Policy and madness I believe.

I think this is the correct answer Zuxius. We can make the fanzine just as anyone else does. You just need to follow community rules and be crazy enough to get to it.

don't tease Hugo, he did the layout, but for the time being he is still a freelancer, I do believe he mention learning this from an uncle... I may be wrong :P

Zuxius wrote:

LOL! No, I don't, but Hugo has layout experience from his previous employment, and I've run point guard for layout before. Hugo found a printer (and I'm pretty sure this isn't a Kinko's kind of job) and has been handling that side of things. And doing an awesome job at it.

My role has been cracking the whip, mostly, and being a second set of eyes. :P

Lilith and Hugo: About how many hours have you worked on the Fanzine? It seems like you've both put a lot of work into it (not to mention the editors and others who have worked on it), and it is much appreciated.

Whut's a Kinko?

Zuxius. I'm a graphic designer that worked for 4 years selling high end furniture. When that job went down the drain I started posting in the boards and worming my way into the comunity. 10 months later, voila. I'm unemployed (as expected) and trying to make a living out on the RPG industry. That's why I'm putting this effort on the Fanzine. Lilith here is the one to wow at, since she's working on it on her personal time ;)

I have no idea how much time have I put on it already, but its at least a week and a half. Thou this fanzine work involves over 40 people. There are like 4 editors, 15 artists and around 30 writters. So if you put together all thir work hours...

BTW, here's a piece of the fanzine art if you want to take a peek ;)

Wow. You do such an awesome job with posing your characters, Hugo. Really, really well done. I'm sure we'll be seeing your name more and more as time goes on.

If all goes well, I might even be able to contact you about some artwork to go with a children's story I've been writing for my daughters.

Yeah, but this time we will CHARGE! Mwahahaha

Speaking of $ and in case someone is interested, I'll be selling all the original art pieces of the Fanzine and all others you see on my gallery (a few sketches included). Kobold Quarterly and Halls of the Mountain King included art.

All are in letter size bond paper, pencils and a few in ink. I need to raise $.

Hi Guys!

Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend PaizoCon, but would love to get a copy of the fanzine. Is there any chance I could purchase a copy? If so, let me know the details...

give a donation, check with lilith (mail on her profile), I don't know if the cost has been completed...

Patronage the Fanzine, talk with Hugo and you get an original sketch or finished drawing with your fanzine autographed by every Paizonian he encounters that helped with the Fanzine, details in previous page, big post by Hugo

Yeah, just don't give'em too much, keep'em wanting more ;)

EDIT: Larry, for a printed copy we are asking for a donation to cover costs, any donation is good. Lilith is handlying these. And if you want a bit more (some signatures and one of the original drawings of the fanzine) just contact me.

The printing cost is almost covered, the thing that worries me now is the shippng. I have to check custom regulations for this.
