I was just reading Pathfinder #1 and it puts the Runelord of Gluttony in the Korvosa area. However, in Crown of Fangs, it has the Runelord of Lust. But with all that talk of vampires and blood and all of that, it struck me that Sorshen wasn't seeming very lusty. And in fact, all of those undead would seem to fit the Runelord of Gluttony much better. Add in the fact that necromancy is one of the prohibited schools for Sorshen and there you go.
So, did the writer of Crown of Fangs just get the name wrong?

Can't just be the name, because we already know how Gluttony survived.

Hmmm ... actually, blood and vampires are usually associated with lust, sex and desire rather than gluttony. I haven't read the first AP, since I'm a player in it, but I'd say the undead do fit with Sorshen more than a lord of gluttony.

If there's an error, it's in Pathfinder #1.
The Runelord of Gluttony ruled throughout what's pretty much Belkzen now.
Vampires are certainly gluttons, but they're also the "sexy" undead and I think that they're more often thought of as sinister seducers or rape metaphors than they are gluttons.
After all... the big pyramid of Sorshen's, and her giant lighthouse, have been along the southern coast of Varisia from the start.

The Thassilon article in PF#1 states that "The lands of Old Ghastash remain fertile, including the region around the modern city of Korvosa and its holding."
This is overruled by the map of the Lost Kingdoms in the CS, where Gastash, as James said, were situated in what's Belkzen nowadays.

I asked this in another thread, but is there some place that talks about:
1) Where the Runelords old holdings exist now
and 2) Which Runelords may have survived.
Anyway, so Sorcha is the Runelord in Korvosa?

Pathfinder #5 or 6 has the info on the Runelords, including their methods of immortality amongst other things.
