"Let us move forward and see what we can at the intersection."
At that, Brignat begins to creep forward with an arrow notched in his bow.
I'm not going to take any of the armor. Given my character's background it would be like looting a respected elder to him.
But leaving a relic for anyone to find would be better?

Brignat |

I fully intend to remove the corpses outside to bury them once we find a way out. the only reason I haven't done so already is b/c the door shut on us. I know it puts me at a disadvantage but I can't see my character grave robbing a fellow soldier. If I was Lawful Evil, then I could make some rational of it but I feel that as a Lawful Nuetral character that the code would stand a little better. While I will obey pretty much any order, I respect my fellow soldiers even after death. Plus, the armor isn't spiked and that is kind of a part of the strategy of my character.

Awesome, awesome, good role playing awareness lol. So we are moving down the hall as a group making spot checks to see if we find any catches, latches, levers, etc. to open the door
Sounds like a plan. For some Gods unknown reason I felt it necessary to give Haruuc no Perception :/ so I think it best if Drexel does the searching and Haruuc does the (hopefully) disabling...

Hahah, I got a weird sense of Deja vu reading that. I think that you made that discovery before, but I dont feel like looking back through all the posts to find out.
CoCo seems to be down right now, I attempted it 3 times with no luck, so I resorted to normal dice
16+7 = 23 percep to find a release.

You cautiously proceed down the hall, you reach the point at the end of the hall where it branches around a wall, it appears it possibly rejoins beyond or it might split into two separate hallways. You cautiously tap the floor, revealing a hollow depression beneath, a pit trap right at the intersection of the hallway.
A high pitched moan echoes through the hallway, you can't tell where it's coming from, possibly all around.

Drexel Morrow |

I forgot the path split, I will let them choose since I am hanging back. Besides last time I navigated through a maze of rooms with you as DM I went straight from the beginning to the end with no side trips, Haha lets see if we can get some exploring done this time.

You round the corner, the passageway continues another 50 to 60 feet, elaborate carving cover the walls in this section, the scene of a Valenar elf fighting hundreds of hobgoblins. You smell something in this area, no longer do you sense a musty tome, but the scent of wild flowers and blood. The floor is a polished red marble, and as you rounded the corner, small globes of light activate in the ceiling illuminating the passage. An elaborate darkwood door is inset at the end of the passage.
Drexel:

I stand few feet away from the other two looking back down the way we came making sure that nothing is going to surprise us by coming around the corner that we did not check out.

Haruuc Dhakaan |

??
Gah! Sorry... I usually scroll down the PbP section and look for new Posts next to my "dotted" games. It didn't tell me that there were any new posts since my last visit. :/
Cursing himself again, Haruuc dives forward in an attempt to evade whatever it was he set off, but still gets hit by some darts as they shoot at him from their hidden recesses.
He comes to his feet and crouches down to look more closely at the floor where he just stepped, hoping to find the pressure plate so he can disarm it.

Drexel/Brignat:
Haruuc

Drexel Morrow |

I quickly get serious and sharply whisper "To arms friends! there is movement coming from down the hall. let us move back behind these cleverly concealed traps to see if perhaps they can slow down the enemy a bit"

nice...
Trigger how many pressure plates?
Brignat: 1d4 ⇒ 2
DARTS:1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16, 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24
DMG: 1d4 ⇒ 4
Drexel: 1d4 ⇒ 3
DARTS: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12, 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21, 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21, 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30
DMG: 1d4 ⇒ 2, 1d4 ⇒ 1, 1d4 ⇒ 1
As Drexel and Brignat move across the trapped area, Brignat is struck solidly in the neck by one dart after narrowly avoiding another. Drexel has 3 darts impact him square in the chest. But the adamantine breastplate destroys teh darts before they can penetrate the black metal.

apparently our ancestors knew how to make some good armor, maybe you should equip some to Haruuc?

As you gather into your defensive formation, you see the form of Hruskin come from around the corner, his eyes glow bright green. You notice he's wearing one of the breastplates now. As he completes gesturing and a ray of fire leaps from his firetip.
Mechanics:
The ray of fire leaps toward Haruuc, who dodges the flame only just as the heat from the ray curls the fur on his face.
"Huh Huh Huh"
"Huh Huh Huh" Three voices were laughing in unison escape Hruskin's lips.
"Huh Huh Huh"
"You shall pay for invading the resting place of the Valenar" in goblin
"You shall pay for invading the resting place of the Valenar" in elven
"You shall pay for invading the resting place of the Valenar" in draconic

Drexel Morrow |

Well, at least I understand 2 of the 3 voices. Too bad my arcane hunter class ability doesn't apply to clerics....
"We'll... I must say I wasn't expecting this... I was hoping for another charging attack. Good thing that clerics are somewhat lacking in the damaging attacks, no?"

Brignat fires a shot into his once companion and then moves to place himself between his the abomination and his comrads.
stand: fire longbow
move: move to intercept while staying out of trap area. 1d20+8; 1d8+3
[Brignat] As you don't know where the trap triggers are and you moved over the traps, there's no way to intercept Zom'Hruskin without traveling back over the traps.

Drexel sheathes his blades and pulls and his bow, dropping into an archer's stance as he nocks an arrow, Brignat snaps off a shot, the shot flies true, the arrow hitting the breastplate, shattering the arrow which causes a spray of splinters to erupt into Hruskin's face, one shard pierces his eye, Hruskin is already moving back behind the wall as Harruc's electrical blast scorches the engravings on the wall.
"Ja'ash Vahl! Fesh ti'kell Valenar."
