About Haruuc Dhakaan

HISTORY
Haruuc grew up with his father's words ringing in his ears: The glory of Dhakaan will rise again.
He was raised to respect the traditions of the Kech Shaarat and to learn the history of his people. He can trace his lineage back to minor nobility of the Dhakaani Empire, distant relatives of the royalty. His father is a Captain in Ruus Dhakaan's personal Bodyguards and his mother is a Dirge Singer. Given that prestige, he grew up in what could be seen as quite lavish circumstances by Hobgoblin Standards.
It was expected of him to one day take his father's place amongst the Elite Guard and while he was not physically strong, his great dexterity made him a natural for wielding the fearsome spiked chain of the Guard.
When he was old enough, he was enlisted into the army as a low-ranking Officer and was given command of a small unit. He led fairly, but with no great genius to make him stand out.
During a skirmish with some Brelish soldiers that had wandered into Dhakaani territory, he was treated to a strange surprise. His unit defeated the Brelanders and as he knelt down to check on the condition of an unconcious soldier, wounds appeared on the man's neck where he was checking for a pulse. The man soon bled to death, and as Haruuc stood, a strange crackling filled the air and his hair started to stand on end. Sparks danced along his arms and a bolt of electricity shot from his hand to explode a small nearby tree. His troops whispered amongst themselves and when they returned to the stronghold, he was immediately summoned by his father and reassigned due to his emergent Sorcerous abilities.

DESCRIPTION
Haruuc is a little above average height for a Hobgoblin, with olive tinged skin and large lower canines. He is considered quite a good looking speciman and has bedded many females as a result. His father has arranged for him to be joined with one of the Dirge Singers under his mother's instruction, but until such time as that union can be made official, he continues to bed as many women as he can.
He cuts a striking figure in a well crafted dull orange chain shirt and he can usually be seen with an orange mask covering his face. Simple vrown leggings and boots round out his attire. A length of spiked chain is wrapped around his body and over his right shoulder. A heavy flail can also be seen slung across his back.

You treat the dire flail and spiked chain as martial weapons. You also gain a +1 bonus on damage rolls when making an attack with a flail, heavy flail, dire flail or spiked chain as long as you do not move during the round in which you make the attack. Any of the following feats also apply to all four weapons regardless of which weapon they are for: Improved Critical, Weapon Focus, Weapon Specialization, Greater Weapon Focus and Greater Weapon Specialization.
Additionally, when an action point is spentto influence an attack roll made with any of these four weapons, the results of the action point roll are also added to the damage for that attack.
