I have recently posted up some Rise of the Runelords character illustrations... and now it's time for CotCT art. =] I have been drawing the characters from the game that I'm in, in the order that they were created.
So, first, my character, Kalyna Istvan. She's a swashbuckler that fights with two elvish rapiers. There's quite a chunk of backstory written out with the drawing.

Ahem. Yes. Sorry about that. Soul-rending job and all that. Anywho.
Character #2, Ehren Istvan. Ehren is Kalyna's semi-identical twin brother, because if he was not related to someone in the party he would not be a feasible PC. The rest of the party drives him crazy, as we are all Chaotic Neutral (except Kalyna, who is Good) While he's Lawful Neutral. And wants to be a lawkeeper.
There are a lot of exchanged glares when we're trying to bluff someone.
Ehren also plays up the tiny bit of Chelaxian blood he has, unlike his sister, who is quite proud of their Verisian heritage. He has Chelaxian symbols on his meteor hammer and waistcoat buttons, and this cravat has a teeny-tiny Korvosian crest on it. I was really afraid I was going to destroy that when I was shading it.
The other tough thing, of course, was that he's Kalyna's twin in looks, but her exact opposite in personality. So I tried to make them have similar features, and I think the noses turned out quite well, while showing his rigidity and slight disdain for those around him through posture and facial expression. And, of course, he's not nearly as buff or tan as she is, as she was a marine, and he's a tax collector.

Character #3 is Dolores Swain. She is a halfling urban druid with a harlequin great dane as her animal companion. She is very concerned with the welfare of children, and besides working in an orphanage and going after Gaedrin Lamm for his mistreatment of children, she also spends most of her time dressed up as a little girl to attract and kill pedophiles.
For this one, I was trying to show the fact that she's actually a 40-year-old halfling while still making her look like a little girl. There are so many contradictions in these characters.
