Not necessaily. While outsiders are usualy the only monsters to have Alignment subtypes (exceptions like the intellect devourer notwithstanding), a look at things like Genies sees that they have the earth or air subtypes, rather than anything alignment based. Also, I'm not that knowledgable on Indian religion, but I'm not sure if their many of their dieties can be rightly called good or evil. It could be that "Asura" sums up its nature much better than good or evil.

If/when we reprint the Beatific One, or make more asuras for the game, we'll have to decide if we want to retain the fact that they don't have the evil subtype. I suspect at that point we'll decide to change things so they do... but it's not necessarily an error to not give them the evil subtype. It's a logical change for a home group if you prefer it that way, of course...

Well, it became a key issue for the new Pathfinder smite evil rules, and I decided it was.

That's true enough. And if/when we update the beatific one in a few years to the Pathfinder RPG, I'll keep that in mind (I'm already 99% sure I'm gonna add the Evil subtype anyway...)
