Anybody watch this show last night. I did, and found it entertaining. I think it has great potential. It was nice to see Christian Slater again.
I saw it last night, and was most pleased. Christian Slater nailed the dual role perfectly, and I hope the series gets a good following.
Fingers crossed! :)

I saw the first episode. While the premise is a cool idea and makes for good drama, I just couldn't grasp the reasoning for the split personality. What possible asset is it for him to have a second personality?
Their process for switching personalities doesn't seem to be very stable. And a split personality is generally considered a defect, so it seems to me to actually be a liability. So why create one?
I can see the use of a secret identity to hide from enemy agents, but why hide from yourself as well? Since Edward appears to have a house and car of his own, all an enemy need do is wait for him there.
I liked the show, but it just didn't make any sense to me.

I think this evolved from Spy Kid for one comic book series.
There are probably other series it could have been inspired from including Athena Inc. I believe it was called, but I don't know about tv series versions though.
Both of these dealt with characters with alternate identities which with a specific "nudge" switched personalities with Spy Kid becoming a cold blooded operative and Athena Inc. became superpowered assassins.
