Lethe shuffles along then when she is right next to one of the club guards whirls round and Sinks her teeth into his throat (shifting and raging at the same time)

Synatria sighs, though she doesn't seem all that distressed. "This will not be good. Should we help her?"
Lethe shuffles along glaring at everything that moves past refusing to be cowed.
The group is put to work with the other slaves and worked hard. You spend unknown hours hauling rubble into carts pulled by mules down rails to some unknown location.
Just as the gruel arrives four armed Dwarves approach the group and speak with one of the guards. Soon the five head your way and the whip armard human yells your way "You three! the new slaves! d'Kundarak wants to see you three!' And soon your lead off down more tunnels by the new armed guards. They seem better armed then the humans, chain, axes and top line repeaters as they lead you escort fashion two in front, tow behind always keeping 10 feet between them and you.
In time you reach a better part of the mine, this looks more worked, The walls and floors are even and work has really been put into the doorways. As you enter the last doorway two guards go in and tow stay outside, framing the doorway. The first thing you notice is d'Kundarak setting behind a massive stone desk in this 20 foot room. Two other doors lay to the left and right, closed. The 2nd thing you notice is a busied and battered shifter girl with an iron collar chained to the far wall, she seems unconscious and does not move.
'I take it introductions are not in order?" He says pointing to Tika's unconscious form chained to the wall.
Just so everyone has an Idea of what Tika looks like

Lethe lets out a long low growl "If you have done any permanent harm to her I'm going to kill you." she glares back at Synatria "You as well."
(If they dont try and stop her Lethe makes her way over to the young shifter and begins to look her over)
Synatria rolls her eyes as she speaks to d'Kundarak. "Whose doing was this? Your guards?"
When the guards come, Garroth flinches away, as if frightened and afraid of being beaten. He keeps his eyes down as he is led through the mines, stumbling once or twice and basically acting tired and weak.
When d'Kundarak speaks, Garroth briefly looks up, appraising the man as best he can with a glance. He looks at him, after the other two speak, and pleads, "Please, sir! I know this girl not. Please don't strike me!"
No one stops Lethe from checking Tika, Kendar d'Kundarak waves Lethes threats off'save your threats shifter, I have heard worse from better people then you." He looks to Synatria and nods 'Ah the spell caster I presume? The nest was a focus of some sort yes? He nods as if that is answer enough, ignoring Garroths pleas.
"As to who injured the girl, such things at times are unavoidable. To her credit she did not give her "sister" up easy but we have our ways. " The left door opens and woman dressed robe of twisting blue and purple patterns. Her indigo hair falls like water from an elaborate head dress. 'Ah, now that everyone has arrived you will tell me who you are and just who you work for? Are you members of the resistance cell ?' The woman turns to you and looks each of you in the eyes, as you speak. Her violet eyes are unsettling. She seems to be staring into your very soul as she gazes at you
Synatria glares. "Enough of that." She turns to Lethe. "Just thought I should remind you of something, Lethe. These are the ones who beat your sister. They hurt her. They did her great injury. Remember that."
"I came here to get my sister nothing more nothing less" Lethe as gently as possible nudges Tika to try and wake her "and no they are not members of the resistance and I'm a mercanery." turning back her attention to Tika she grows even more concernd "Tika wake up please" she says her voice tacking on an edge of uncharatiristic panic.

Terrified of a bunch of rebels so much that you feel the need to use magic on slaves to make sure we aren't members of the big bad resisters." She adopts a terrified look. "Look out behind you! It's a rebel! Run for your lives, run!" She pantomimes running away with very exaggerated movements.
Whilst Synatria capers around Lethe takes this moment to seize The chain holding Tika to the wall and attempts to snap it with her bear hands (raging as she does this)

If she manages to do this she lifts Tika in an almost motherly way shielding her from the dwarfs if possible "Look lets cut all the mystical mumbo Jumbo and get straight to the point what do you want?"
At Synatria's word the woman's eyes almost glow as she spates "Impudens lacerta vos mos exuro!" as a ball of purple energy lances from her hand to Synatria
Behind the unfolding attack Lethe rips tika's chain from the wall
Lethe stands up holding Tika's prone form and once again gently shakes Tika to try and wake her sister up
Synatria' tries to dodge but is struck by the boltwith a cold malevolence in her voice she says 'One more word vermin and I burn you where you stand!"
Behind the desk Kendar d'Kundarak bows to the woman. 'My lady I know this vermin has offended, but this group may be of some use to us."
The woman turns to the dwarf as if thinking something over. "Very well. If it holds it's tongue it may live"
Nodding d'Kundarak turns to Lethe"Odd as it seems shifter your the one truthful being here. And the one with most at stake. So I'll ask you again who are your friends and who do you work for.' He holds his hand up before lethe speaks 'Think for once before you speak. The lady here can rip the thoughts from your head. And if I think anyone here is lying to me she'll have all the time she needs to do so. It's not pleasant and it may destroy your mind but I will do so. He looks from lethe to Garroth to Synatria. "I do not care what issues you have with the Valnear. I may have use for you. I will find out hat I want to know one way or the other. You decide.'
The woman glances at you all as if watching something you can not see
"Like I said I'm a Mercanery I work for the highest bidder Of course since my previous employers are all dead I'm currently unemployed. As for the other two considering I came close to disembolweing the Kobald this morning I would hardly consider her a friend"

Synatria shrugs and bows her head, though there is a reptilian grin on her face. She begins chanting in an odd language.

I am a Cyran, but I have no particular loyalty to any nation, and I would certainly not give up my life for the rebel cause. I would be willing to serve a reasonable master, provided my necessities are preserved. The nest, in particular." She looks expectantly at the dwarf.
Lethe continues to try and wake Tika up whilst the others talk.

She looks at the dwarf. "You seem reasonable. Be fair in your judgments. Do not allow a premature execution."
Synatria closes her eyes and starts praying again. She is, however, apparently poised to dodge any attack which may come.

I am sure buy now they have missed to meeting however there is a small chance this group might make contact with someone in town. All I ask is you stay in town and keep watch on the old inn. We have the passcodes for contact after all. You could say your part of the cell. So you meet up with this unit and arrange contact, in exchange we will pay you a thousand gold. Sound fair?'

Garroth glowers at the kobold. Now the fool tells my name, as well. She may as well stay in the mines, because her fate will be far worse if we get out of here, Garroth thinks.
He turns to d'Kundarak. "It would seem we work for you regardless. Either here or down below. Personally, I believe we will be dead in either case. But so be it. What would you have us tell this military unit?"
"All you need to tell this unit is the cell has been destroyed but you have a contact that wish to meet. You can then deliver the message to the mine head in town, his home is not hard to find. He will contact me, arrange the meet and you'll get paid..sound fair?"
