Ok here is a question for you people over at Goblin Works. I read on your blog about the capstone ability and how if you stick to one "class" and keep to only its skills by the time you max it out you can get a capstone ability. But if you branch out before then you will not get the capstone.
Now here is my question. Once we reach capstone a capstone can we then branch out into another classes abilities and train exclusivly with that class in the attempt to reach a second capstone? Or would I have to create a totaly new character if I wanted another capstone?

they changed the capstone idea and replaced it with dedication. Basically if you slot/use abilities geared towards on archtype you get bonuses. They said these might evolve into something similar to capstones at high levels, but they havent decided yet.
basically they made this decision due to the length to cap (2.5 years is an estimate). During that entire time you dont get any benefits of being single classed, at least not until a couple of years later. The dedication system allows people who want to dedicate to a single archtype start getting those bonuses immediately, and allow people who dont want to multi class to not. It also provides a method for the devs to be able to tweek a single archtype build to compete with multi class builds.

@Banecrow, yeah, they could really use to put a note on that blog post with a link to Stephen Cheney's Dedication post.
