He was waiting to see what his work schedule looked like; I'll know tonight, and tell you tomorrow. I told him to make an account with Armored Gopher, as well; but I'm not sure if he has done so yet.

I hope he gets a chance to do this. I'm really excited to get a chance to run this one again (not to mention, I think this is a personal record for running an adventure, as this will be #4 through it).

I'll be looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks.

I have at least one of my regular players interested in this event as well (he's unavailable this week), so I think this one may fill in a bit more.

I'm hoping as we move forward, especially if Armored Gopher gets signed up as a PFS store and gets some advance released adventures, that more people will jump on this since no one in the area should have any previous experience with them.

Thanks for signing up!

Unfortunate News

I'm going to have to call the Silent Tide event for tomorrow night. I want to make sure I have time to tell everyone that its not on, since I know that I have people that might be traveling a good distance.

I didn't have enough people to run this without my alternates, and one of my alternates, my 16 year old daughter, has been sick for two days, and even if she is feeling better tomorrow, she will be snowed under with homework, and I'm not going to pull her away from that to use her for an alternate.

Apologies to everyone for this, but so far the Silken Caravan event in two weeks looks like its going to have a much better turnout, so I'm hoping to not have to worry about finding alternates to cover slots for it.

Again, I'm very sorry about this, but its only fair to try and call this as soon as possible, given the distances involved. If you have any questions, let me know.

HEY! Still out here in the chicagoland region looking for PFS is anyone wanting and willing to play. Please.

As of right now there are three of us coming down for Silken Caravan, on the 25th. The other two have not confirmed with their overlord of scheduling, but they seemed pretty confident last night, so we'll cross our fingers.

If you're in Lockport, you should swing through AF and see if they've got anything on. I'm never in Lockport or I'd do it myself. Odds are good that if something gets arranged around there I could come, and maybe bring more. A lot of different factors involved, but until January I've got Monday night and Tuesday night available for gaming. As well as the monthly trip to Champaign on a Thursday.

I'm excited now . . . since the next event I can run after September 25th will be on October 23rd, that means that I can use one of the two new adventures for that event, and be fairly sure that everyone that's interested will be playing a new event for them.

Whoo hoo!

Out of curiosity, any preferences on which one to run first?

Scarab Sages

I'd make the drive up for either, honestly. I'm eager to play. :)

My Illinois brothers and sisters: have FUN!

Hey Boomer,

If you're ever in the Peoria area - it's a hell of a lot closer than Champaign. Heck - I have friends who used to LARP out there in your neck of the woods and they live in Peoria.

Just feel good knowing you're maybe 80 min from a fellow Pathfinder instead of 4 hours!

COOL! As for the LARP - was it, I wonder, the One World By Night V:tM game?

I used to be a storyteller, so I might actually know your friends!

I'm all set for Thursday night. We have enough that if worst comes to worst one of the proprietors at Armored Gopher will sit in on the session, but at best we'll have five for the Silken Caravan session, so I'm pretty excited.

Turns out I may have one more...remains to be seen, but he has expressed interest.

Hey all. Jumping in a bit late here, but for future considerations I'm in Chicago willing to travel pretty much wherever within reason to play.
I'd GM the offerings from Gencon as well, but must admit to being pretty rusty at judging.

Marshall, are you the con organizer for Archon?

That kicked arse...nicely done. The three of us are locked in for October; and this time I'll have my character with me, instead of whipping out some half clone of him. Still kicking myself over that, and when I got to my car...there he was, right on top. Anyway, you ran Silken Caravan perfectly and I feel like with one more game together we'll make an exceptional group. Thank you, again, for putting this together and executing it so well.

cheers

It already looks like I'll have five signed up for this one, so I only have one slot open, but I have this on the schedule for October 23rd at Armored Gopher:

Mists of Mwangi Pathfinder Society Event at Armored Gopher Games in Champaign, Illinois

I just noted on AG's site that I have five people signed up for this event already, but I'm not sure if Oozi or Sage are interested in this one still, as I've only got one slot left.

I just thought I'd post that before there was any confusion closer to the actual event.
