Looking for storytellers for a convention in Peterborough, Ontario

Local Play

My name is David Watson. I am the event coordinator for the RPG convention "Phantasm". This will be Phantasm's 18th year, making it Ontario's longest running role-playing convention.

The convention is being held in Peterborough on September 27th & 28th
2008. Peterborough is about an hour and a half north of Toronto and about two hours south of Ottawa in Canada. I would love it if some folks would be interested in coming out to let folks try "Pathfinder".

If you are interested drop me a line at davidjwatson@sympatico.ca, for more information on the convention visit http://phantasm.pfga.ca/

*bump*

Hey folks, anyone up in the Toronto area who can help David out? He needs some volunteer GMs to run Pathfinder Society scenarios for Phantasm. Help us spread the Society in Canada--send David an email!

Dammit, I missed this post before. I grew up just 45 minutes from Peterborough and would love to do this, but I have other commitments that weekend.

Sorry for resurrecting this thread (I've been sorry for resurrecting a lot of threads lately!) but I was wondering if any of you guys hosted Pathfinder Society events? I want to join a gang but I can't find any! (live in Burlington, ON)

Has it only been 19 years? I remember a convention in Peterborough at the Public Library when I was 15 or 16. That would have been ... longer than 19 years ago.

Whight (sic) role-playing society also used to run cons at the Peterborough library, I believe.

Of course CanGames just had its 33rd annual convention in Ottawa, but I guess it isn't exclusively rpgs.

I'll look at my calendar. I might be available.

I've only been in Ontario for the last 4 years, so I'm not familiar with the local CONs... what exactly are you referring to when you're asking for "story tellers?" DMs?

I'd assume that means DMs. Or actually, I guess I DO assume that. Some games use Story Teller as their term of choice for DM/GM/referee/keeper/marshal/whatever.
