To start with I am rather more impressed with by 4E than I was when I initially started reading the books.
I started with 'Good God...WHAT HAPPENED' attitude. But as I have read there are some very good mechanics and suggestions for using both still and the new powers allowed to the different class's.
The one thing that I feel is sadly lacking is Rituals.
They have potential but there are so few of them. Does anyone know if there are more that have been produced since the 4E books came out, either fan ones or other sites?

This month's Dragon is supposed to have an article on Rituals, which will hopefully add some more. No idea when that specific article is being released (the compiled version of the entire month comes out at the end of the month) but here is where the link will appear once they publish it.
Cheers! :)

I would expect the forthcoming Arcane Power book (sadly not due until early 2009 :( ) will have a ton of new rituals. PHB2 will probably have some too. I've seen a few on ENWorld but not much. I don't think it would be too difficult to make some new ones yourself using the existing list as a guide for costs and DCs.

I think one of the best resources for new Rituals would be the 3.5 books. Look for spells that fall under the same basic principle as the spells that have already been converted to rituals. Then using the old stats for the spells and the conversion between the spells and rituals that have been published you should be able to come up with reasonable stats and costs.

For the time constrained or lazy DM, this doesn't help, but it's really good advice if you are willing to take some time and effort to work some up.

I believe enworld has a thread on adding old spells back in as rituals.

Here's the main link.
linkied! You can click on the sublinks to go to the individual rituals.
I think I will create one that attaches an encounter spell to go off when needed.
Fixed that for you. :)

Thanks for the pointers, it looks good so far.
I am planning on two campaigns in the future, one will be using Pathfinder and set in the Realms( probably ), the other will be 4th Edition and set in Kalamar( again probably).
Ultimately I do like what the 4th edition has in it, just will tweak the skills system, instead of the characters skills increasing by half the level constantly which makes very standard looking PC to giving all the character 5 skill points to distribute. They start with 15 skill points to distribute and Trained skills only grant a +2 but have better options available to them.
STAR WARS SAGA EDITION gave the Untrained Skill limited options which I liked.
If the game works well..great, if not my 4th edition stuff may be on the next years Bring & Buy tables at the local conventions.
Thanks Again.

True, but as one of those types of DMs, that is what players are for. 'You want to research a ritual? Do the work and show me what you come up with. Use these as guidelines.'

Very very true. Excellent advice and could be great fun for the players.
