and I got to the part where the party has to

get Trinia out of town..

...now here's the funny part.
My party already did that.

Then I read the part of

Spoiler:
give the party XP for a CR2 encounter if they get her out of town.

So... do I give it to them now since they didn't get it before?

Just throw it in somewhere, or split it up amongst several others. Unless your players know the adventure, and the XP distribution rules, how will they ever know the difference?

I am really liking the way CotCT is giving out story awards though, Gives a good feel for when/how much they should be given.
