You can order a stack of them every six months. If you're domestic, you'd save some money, but if you're international, you won't save as much as you think. For most destinations, the six single envelopes can be sent via an inexpensive method, but a box of six can only go Priority. Taking the UK as an example, postage on six individual volumes comes to $44.34, and a box of 6 comes to $40.88. (Actually, we're just wrapping up a rate renegotiation, and while I can't quote an exact price at the moment, the price on the individuals will be going down, while the price on the box of 6 will be staying the same.)
The extra risk with international shipments - in my experience - is that you have to pay customs on a box, while you don't with an envelope.
