Sing it with me now:

Money money money! MONEY!

Or if you prefer Will Smith:

GET THE MONEY!

You can hate Qadira all you want. They'll own your nation soon.

And they'll buy it for only a few sheckels...

Big deal. Cheliax doesn't care how much you may buy and sell, for we will own your souls! OK, our diabolical masters will own them, but we can enslave you for a few years and benefit from your earthly labors.

Liberty's Edge

Money can't buy freedom, and no Andoran worth his salt will stand still while gold chains are wrapped around his neck. Still, a free society includes a free market, so you Qadirans are welcome to market your wares locally. Just watch your step, eh?

I have no hate for Qadira O' Logue the great, if anything i think i would excel in playing the role; but alas, for now, I live and play in the trenches of New York, I don't intend to role play it as well ;-)

The Exchange

Oh fellow, foolish, misguided Pathfinders:

How can you not understand? Qadira is wise in the ways of the soul. Cheliax? Why sell your soul to an Infernal when you could sell my spices (and perhaps some information, too) in the markets of Absalom? Andoran? Why weigh yourself down with the silly passion for "common rule" when your coin purse is better suited to the weight of coins? Taldor? Bah! Be an effete has-been if you desire.

And Qadira? Ah, Qadira. Sweetly majestic Katheer, you are a beloved sight for my tired eyes, dulled by the lesser cities of this pathetic continent.

Pathfinders, hear me! In the service of Qadira, you shall reap money, power and prestige. And your afterlife will be one of satisfaction in Abadar's First Vault, happily free of hellfire, contentious filibusters and foppish wigs.

Here, let these coins be a downpayment on what you shall find in the service of Xerbystes, Second of His Name. <clink clink>

I shall call on you soon, perhaps, for a favor. A small favor. Really nothing at all.

Until then...

- Farzan, merchant prince of Katheer

Ha! Word! Money Money Money = New York living. :-)

You probably want to go with Taldor then. That would be a nice break of pace.

Well spoken honored friend. However do you not feel the call of the desert night wind? To me the shimmer and mystery of the distant horizon is even more appealing than the golden rewards my tribe gains by breeding the finest horses to be found anywhere in the wide world.

Qadira is always in my heart wherever I wander, yes. I love her as the mother I lost long ago. Yet still I long to do something more than reap the riches of my honored families traditional business. And I do not believe I am alone in this among the most blessed children of Qadira.

And so though we may differ in opinions of what our destiny might be I wish you well in all your endeavors friend.

Shade and sweet Water to you and yours,

- Jumanah, first daughter of Ahmed, granddaughter of Sultan.

Oh indeed indeed! Well spoke m'lady! Qadira, such a wonderful wonderful place. I've never seen such a place in my many years of travel. It might be warm and dry at the time but the desert brings rewards to all the loyal servants of Qadira. And I am one of those small though I am. I will sing her praises everywhere!

Glory to the desert empire!

And we'll buy them right back! I mean, souls are good and all but even devils need some bling!
