Seriously Razz...the more I read your posts the more I want to play 4E just to piss you off.

The same way I enjoy red meat more that I really do because of activist vegetarians.

I intend to play my first 4th edition game while eating a bacon burger made by illegal immigrants, wearing fur, and wiping my mouth with pages ripped out of the Forgotten Realms sourcebook. For an encore, I will tell people that they are not as good as me because they don't live in New York City.

No arguments with you on this one. :)

I probably should let this die, but there something to respond to.

I think the real problem many have with 4e is that it's virtually a completely different game from v3.5 and back. From what I've seen, it's so different form 'traditional' D&D that WotC could have branded it under a different name and successfully marketed it as an alternative game to D&D.

Just my opinion.

I was arguing against the perceived similarities between what was mentioned in the South Park episode. I was not arguing that 4e was all good, happy, and perfect.

I'm still not sure why people are responding to me with these arguements.

All I was trying to write is that adding flavor scenes to Star Wars and E.T., or having Greedo fire first, or having the FBI carry walkie-talkies instead of guns are much gentler than the system change of v3.5 to 4e. But I wasn't trying to argue anything at all. Sorry.

Oh, ok. I'm sorry, I just thought you were arguing the other way and was confused.
