Panoramic/Cross-Section View of Korvosa
The city map to Korvosa is great (as well as the Guide to Korvosa)
The problem is:
When you look at the map of Korvosa, it looks like the city is laid out completely flat.
But the city is not flat – not by a long shot.
The city is on an island and appears (by reading the Players Guide & Guide to Korvosa) that the city is situated on some serious hilly/island terrain.
So, is there any chance we’ll see a nice Full City View in a Panoramic/Cross-Section... to get a “feeling” of the entire landscape in “3D” (for a lack of a better term)
Hope I’m making sense here (I’m tryin’)
Thanks-

We've tried to get a few panoramic illustrations of Korvosa... but those are shockingly hard to get done so that they match the map. At this point, I don't suspect we'll get anything that shows the ENTIRE city at once, but we do have a fair amount of smaller scale shots of the city spread throughout Curse of the Crimson Throne, Guide to Korvosa, and the Player's Guide.
That said... if anyone wants to take a shot at a fan-made side view, I'd LOVE to see them!

Thanks James-
The Panoramic views that have appeared so far for Korvosa (in Pathfinder, Players Guide & Guide to Korvosa) have all been really great!
But the even those shots don't show how hilly, steep the terrain is.
I guess it's because the shots have been close up and not a full city view?
I don’t think we would even need something so detailed that it would need to match the map identically – just something to show the scale and general landscape/terrain of the city/island as a whole.
A fan-made panoramic view would also be great... (cough-Lilith-cough) ;-)

Does anyone know how much the rise of the terrain is, in and around Korvosa? I've only had a chance to skim over the Player's Guide, the Guide to Korvosa, and Edge of Anarchy, so it's entirely possible I missed any terrain references in them. One can get a general idea of the slope from the shading on the hills and the the way the streets wind throughout the area.
I noticed heights for some notable buildings and landmarks, and it's generally pretty easy to extrapolate the size of the small buildings by their footprint and descriptions of the general buildings in each district. Any specific pointers/specifications anyone could toss out would be great.

Both Garrison Hill (on Endrin Isle) and Citadel Hill (on the mainland) rise to about 200 feet, which is par for the surroundings.
When seen from Conqueror's Bay sailing into Korvosa, the city kinda goes like this: 200-foot hill with lighthouse, river, island rising to 200-foot hill with stone walls, 200-foot hill with GREAT TOWER (Great Tower is 270 feet high), cliffs from hill, BIG CASTLE (Castle Korvosa is even taller than Great Tower when you count the pyramid), hill tapers down, BIG FOOT (the Gatefoot), BIG WALL (Pillar Wall), small island with lighthouse.
