I liked it. Of course the premise is similar to Highlander/Forever Knight/Angel/etc. But the lead makes it fun.
I liked the encounter with one of his ex-wives (does that make her son his son?) and the clip from next episode.
"What if you get your head cut off?"
"I don't know, that's never happened."
*snort* best way to handle the Highlander comparison, head on, as it were.
yep i liked it got the same vib. but it is on fox so it has a 25% chance of makeing it a whole seson . i hope it does.

Ok, last night...
Went wayyyy off the Highlander vibe. Apparently John can have kids, in fact has had quite a few.

Amusing fact, he doesn't even name his dogs anymore, he numbers them. I'm stealing that hook for my next elan.
