Like some others, I find that the planar stuff doesn't mix well with the rest of the plot, and at level 10 (after throwing in the recent painting module from Gamemastery), sent my players off to defend Hollowsky (which is now called Sandpoint because I am lazy). They successfully defended the town, and have made it to Jorgenfist. I assume fighting and looting will follow.
Now, does anyone have any good ideas on how I can tie this into the larger plotline? I'm not sure if I want Mokmurian to be a low-ranking Cagewright, or if I want him to be possessed by a Spell Weaver, or what. I'd like to tie this in somehow - maybe let the PCs find a Ring of 13 on him, with a conspicuous "#12" on it or something to make them wonder about who else is wearing these things.
