To take a page from Monte...
xxxxx 3volved
It brings the idea that it's an evolution of 3rd edition and the wonderful addition to colloquial society that is 13375p34k. ;)
As for the xxxxx part, something like some of other companies have already used like True20 or Natural20 would work. Something with a 20 in it to tie it back to the d20 rules without infringing on patent or copyright or trademark or whatever protects those three digits in such an arrangement.
20/20 3volved ?

I still use Basic, 1e and 2e and 3.0 books in my games and grab bits of rules, flavour etc for use in my 3.5 games. I don't see how this will change. Or rather I do see how some might feel that all 3.5 books will become useless, I just don't think that it's true.
There usefullness will depend on how much time and energy you have to devote to converting older stuff to the new format. If you have little of either, then your old books will be practically useless to you if you convert. I never crack open my 2nd editon or 3.0 books anymore, because it would take too much effort to use anything from them in 3.5, and 3.5 has so many options that I don't really need new material. Even the fluff is changed so much, that if you buy into 4.0 fluff, it's mostly incompatible with older fluff.

It's entirely possible that 4e will be the more robust rules set and that it could be the starting point for a more 3e-ish rules set. It could be to 4e what Iron Heroes is to 3e in terms of compatability. Maybe the 4e SRD will allow all the crappy WotC branded garbage to be peeled away and a good set of fluff (the 3e set) can be built on the worthwhile mechanics of 4e.Just a thought.
If Paizo can take 4.0 and, somehow, "fix" it so that it feels like good ol' D&D I'd be all over it. I will not support WotC's lame efforts but would be happy to throw my money Paizo's way.

On the subject off the name,
I’d go for a simple -OGL d20 Toolbox- : a 3.5 compatible book or booklet with options and compilations simplifying some sore points and regrouping the fun gear designed by the Paizo staff.
I’m not touching the Version War. I know what I’ll be doing and I know I would buy a Pimp-My-3.5-Game kit (hey! That’s a name right there!) made by the people at Paizo.

And so I'm not accused of threadjacking, I agree with Chris Perkins 88's suggestions, something along the lines of Pathfinders Handbook, GameMastery Guide etc, because if Paizo were to publish these books, why wouldn't they take every opportunity to promote their own lines?
Damn was just gonna put that as well!!!

For names, how about ...
P20 - works with either Paizo or Pathfinder
G20 - works with GameMastery

yeah but it seems the problem is people not wanting to buy into Paizo or gamemastery and their version of the 3.5 srd.
I'm gonna be sticking with the base 3.5 srd. Anything that can be easily ported in my opinion probably doesn't deserve its own revision(Much in the way all the crap and alternative in unearthed arcana isn't 3.5/6/7)
and yes I'd love for 3.5 to stay vital, but note im saying 3.5 not someone's interpretation of it (as was mentioned before).
What I'dlike to see is someone pick up the publishing of the SRD in a format simular to the 3.5 core books (So simular that they infact keep the page referencees correct, and add a quick reference section to the front or back that is numbered outside it) somemthing like the mongoose travel editions but with the numbering correctly done.
But that said I don't know how many would buy it, im presuming that at least some of the 4th edition furer comes from the declining sales of the big money maker in an edition, the core books.
