Hm, not entirely sure if I can post this here, but most of these are using Pathfinder-logo at least so... Anyway, if this one violates too many copyrights, feel free to delete this post =). The sheet itself is very simple, I made it for a melee character, so there is no room for spells etc. I'm planning to make another page for the sheet, so those who need room for spells, animal companions etc. can print that page too. But it's still in the making. Anyway, here it is:

I don't think that they're petty enough to annoy people over using that logo, especially since no one is making money with that thing.
Anyway, I like your sheet, especially that you thought of using the landscape format. I think I'll have to do something with that, too.
Salama |
Yes, I just thought that because I also used background art from the RotRL player's guide, I might just gone too far =).
I don't quite get it why every sheet I have seen is in portrait format. I think landscape is much usable in the table. It's easier to make the layout and you can also fold the sheet in the middle, when it takes even less room in the table. It has all the combat stuff on one side, and skills on the other. All stuff that you don't need to see so often stays inside the sheet. Of course that's just my humble opinion on sheets, but at least my group likes them that way. I'm also thinking of making the pdf fillable, using some automatic forms (calculates ability modifiers, automatically fills abilities to skills, etc). I think I'll do that after I finish my completely automatic Star wars Saga edition character sheet/generator =).
If you make landscape version of your sheet (which I like, good job), be sure to post it here!
Salama |
Oh, I didn't notice Lilith's sheet until now. Interesting choices you made with that one. I like the idea of using the stat block format in sheet. I like the order of things, with init, senses and attacks on the other side, and AC and Hp on the other. Only the languages seem a bit out of place there. Good job anyway, hope you don't mind if I steal some of your ideas =).

love the character sheets that have been done. i probably will use one of these for my other Pathfinder games. is anyone here doing a psionic sheet? i thought i saw someone post that they were working on one but i could have been wrong.
I don't have a special psionics sheet, but I use my sheet one for psionic characters all the time. I'd say the "magic" page is general enough to work for psionics, too.

This is the best character sheet I have seen in a while. I love portrait-style sheets, print the 2 pages on one sheet, fold into a booklet and there you go easy as pie. The only thing I would suggest too make it even better is a matching blank spellbook with different areas for different level spells that can be inserted into the booklet and stapled together.
Great Job Salama! I will be requiring usage by my players for my Pathfinder games, probably with an option for players to choose between yours and Tamago's sheets (which are also awesome!).Thanks to both Salama and Tamago for some excellent sheets.

Thank you! Good to hear you like it. I've been thinking about the spell-section. Do you mean that it would also be foldable (same size), or just one paper by the size of one "page" of the sheet? I think I'll do the spell book next week, so if you have some more suggestions/wishes, I'd be glad to hear them!
I found player's guide to Ptolus, which had landscape-format sheet in it. First one I have seen.
Salama |
Well, why do it next week when you can do it today. I'm not sure if this is what you were after with the spell section, but I tried to make it work for all kind of casters. It's really generic in other words, like the rest of the sheet.
I also made my own background art, so I'm (maybe) violating copyrights only with the usage of the Pathfinder-logo, like the rest of these sheets. I'm not sure if the skills section has too much background behind it, comments would be helpful.
Rise of the Runelords sheet with spells
Oh, I also made a second one, where I changed the colors and the title to match the next adveture path =)

Friggin' beautiful!
Maybe double the spell sheet(put 2 side by side). I am gonna use them in a test run for a Duskblade I am playing in a homebrew game to see if it works good. The only other suggestion I have is to make a page (full sized, landscape)with magic item locations to keep track of magic items (head, face, shoulders, etc.).
I love the new background. You could sell these if it was legal to. Maybe Paizo could take the design and offer it as a downloadable bonus or something(maybe even charge for it).
Great stuff!
Fake Healer |
Just thought of something, instead of a full landscape page of magic item locations you could do 1/2 with magic items and 1/2 for henchmen, animal companions, familiars. It could be like the first sheet with the combat stats (abilities, saves, AC, initiative, attacks) but with less area for attacks and Hit points leaving more area to place a section for feats, racial traits and possessions.
Just brainstorming here.
If I had the ability I would try but I don't so I will leave that to the people who can.
Great job!
Salama |
Heh, thanks. I don't think Paizo would be very interested in my sheet, but a very nice thought anyway! =)
I have one design where I have a place for familiar. It's very similar design so I could just paste it from there. Personally I think that a section to keep track of magic items is kind of waste of space, because it often just duplicates information from possessions. Same with a box for armor, which is found in sheets from WotC. It duplicates information already found on sheet, only max. dex doesn't exist anywhere. But I think max.dex is something you really don't have to have written in sheet. Ok, I got little off-track there, but if magic item-section is something you like, I will put it there =). I think it will work fine, because you still don't need to print the other page, if you don't want to. My initial reason for this kind of design was that it would fit in one page (foldable) and take little room in table. But yea, I actually need a space for familiar soon, so I'll start making another page. Sunday is always a good day for this kind of thing.

Hm, I made the spell section bigger and added page for magic items and animal companion etc. Now the character sheet is two double-sided foldable pages. I think the magic-section is acceptable, but the other side with the magic items and companions is not so good. It's like it has some random boxes just thrown to the sheet. You know, like the first page is combat and skills, all the sections belong there. Next page is feats, features, experience, levels, information about character, etc. I think all of those fit in there as well. Then there is obvious spell section. But the final page is magic items and companions. Any thoughts? Anyway, if that's something you need, I've uploaded it with different name.

The cohort/mount/companion pages are usually a little clunky in every sheet I've seen, but they are so necessary. Don't sweat it. I think they look great and I will be using them for a long time to come.
Thank you so much for putting the effort in and working so hard at this.FH

No problem! It's worth the effort if someone uses it =).

Salama - I love these sheets. I especially like that they are so beautifully simple - and landscape, that is a touch of genius.
However, I use a modified set of skills with several skills rolled into UltraSkills (tm). So Hide and Move Silently is Stealth - that kinda thing. Now, I tried using my copy of Acrobat Pro to modify the skill list, but had loads of problems formatting and also the little blobs you use for untrained skills I could not delete / move.
So - can you post me a version that is not a pdf, or could I be so bold as to to request a special version?
Thanks for the great work either way.

Cool - you sir are a gentleman. Yes please include all sections you have, they are all ace. By the way this will be used for a Curse of the Crimson Throne campaign.
My modified skill list looks like this:
APPRAISE x (INT)
ACROBATICS * x (DEX)
ATHLETICS * x (STR)
BLUFF x (CHA)
CONCENTRATION x (CON)
CRAFT (___________) (INT)
DIPLOMACY x (CHA)
DISGUISE x (CHA)
GATHER INFORMATION x (CHA)
HANDLE ANIMAL (CHA)
HEAL x (WIS)
INTIMIDATE (CHA)
KNOWLEDGE (__________) (INT)
KNOWLEDGE (__________) (INT)
KNOWLEDGE (__________) (INT)
KNOWLEDGE (__________) (INT)
KNOWLEDGE (__________) (INT)
MECHANISMS (INT)
PERCEPTION x (WIS)
PERFORM (_____________) (CHA)
PROFESSION (__________) (WIS)
RIDE x (DEX)
SENSE MOTIVE x (WIS)
SLEIGHT OF HAND * (DEX)
SPELLCRAFT (INT)
STEALTH * (DEX)
SURVIVAL x (WIS)
USE ROPE x (DEX)
Please note: the asterisk * denotes an armour check penalty and the x is for untrained skills. I also have 5 slots for Knowledge skills as these feature heavily.
Thanks for doing this, I am most extremely grateful.

What was I thinking. I blame the lack of sleep
And yes, Stealth can be used untrained - typo. For that matter I just double checked and Craft, Intimidate and Perform can all be used untrained too.

I contacted Paizo about the copyright issues with the logo, and here is the reply:
"we don't mind our customers using the Pathfinder logo for their character sheets as long as a) they place the following legal text on each page on the bottom "Pathfinder and the Pathfinder logo are trademarked and copyrighted by Paizo Publishing LLC and are used with permission." and b) that nobody using the Pathfinder logo or name sells those sheets for monetary gain."
So here is link to my Pathfinder sheet with proper legal text:

Salama I was able to download/open the Crimson Tide sheet. (I got a 404 error) Would you re-upload it.
I like everyone's sheets BTW. :]

These are the ones I use.
Letter Sized
Tabloid Sized (landscaped for folding)
I keep track of each level of information after a few raise deads and negative level losses made me lose more than I should have. So, now, I use these sheets so I know what each level is.

Hey Salma,
this sheet is cool. What software program did you use to make it?
JM |
I made the background image with Adobe Photoshop and everything else with Adobe Indesign.
Oh- very cool.
I actually just picked up InDesign this week (still learning it).I tried to import (InDesign – “Place”) your character sheet into InDesign and make some changes (for our game's house rules), but it didn't seam to work well (but I'm still learning - so maybe I'm doing it wrong).
Is there another way to take your character sheet into InDesign and make changes, or would I need a different file type (ie not PDF)?
Thanks again,
JM
JM |
It's not easy to change things in pdf in Indesign. You need my indesign (.indd) file. But hey, as long as you don't share it as your own, I can give it to you =). Just give me your email address. OR you can tell me what changes you want and I can make them for you =).
Ya cool - if you could send me the file, that would be great!
I'm only going to use it for our group (I wont share it outside). My email is: thegreyhawkgame@yahoo.com.
Thanks again Salama!

I think the color coding is a really clever idea. I may try and incorporate that into something I am designing as well. And the previous levels list could come in really handy!
I usually try and have a copy of each character at each level, but I am not always good about getting those.

These are actually sheets for 3.5, with some Pathfinder flavor. You can find Pathfinder rpg alpha sheets here, and in some other threads...

Does anyone here know if there is an automated, PDF, character sheet out for Pathfinder A3? I looked at the TOS+ sheet, but I'm not much for over large character sheets in excel.
I had my first taste of automated sheets with a 3,5 sheet and loved it. The reason being that in my 20 years of playing/DM'ing I have kept memorable PC's and NPC's and ported them into each "system migration" from 1st eddition, to 2nd, to skills & powers, to 3.0, to 3,5 and now to Pathfinder. With a list of 82 characters an automated sheet that does the mundane number crunching is really helpful.

They all look pretty good, thing is i don't like having a lot of unnecessary stuff on my sheet, the official pathfinder sheet dosn't have enough necessary stuff (space to list equipment/notes/feats) that's why my favorite character sheet is the ultimate character sheet for 3.5. Check it out, just Google it. So i modified the front page of it to have the pathfinder skills selection. (i used photoshop so its a picture, but it prints well) Thing is... *twiddles thumbs nervously* i don't have a place to upload it, anyone know one i could use? If not, check out the 3.5 one it's pretty awesome. Only needs the skills changes. It's a two page monster of a sheet. If it does not have something our group does not have we have side sheets that do.

Just downloaded/had printed Salama's PF Curse of the Crimson Throne sheet. What a beautiful thing. I'll hand correct the skills to comport with PF Alpha3. The spellbook was a great idea. No more scrap paper. Using the Animal Companion section for one character as my Shapechanged Druid Form per D&D PH2. Also playing a multi-class cleric/wizard and it's all right there, easy as pie. Salama, you Rock!

Performing some thread necromancy here I have to say that the latest version of salamas Pathfinder sheet is one of the best I have used for any system. Its well organized and looks great. Character sheets that look like Microsoft Office documents always take me out of the game a little, and overly ornate sheets usually don't organize data well. This one avoids both those pitfalls with aplomb.
I give this sheet an A- for user interface design (there is block of tickboxes in the spellbook section that doesn't have a description and their use isn't immediately clear to me) hand an A for style.
