Who's your favorite Anti-Hero?

Off-Topic Discussions

Who’s your favorite Anti-Hero from all sources movies, tv, books, comics?

I’m going to say Spawn. Lost family and life, went to hell, comes back to fight for humanity against heaven and hell. Come on who's more anti-hero than that?

Raistlin's a close second for me.

Anti-heroes are always fun. Some of my favorites are Ash Williams, Artemis Entreri, Jarlaxle Baenre, Lobster Johnson, Agent 23, and Downer Tarantula.

Most of my favorite anti heroes have went off a little in recent years. :(

James Howlett aka 'Patch' aka 'Weapon X' ake 'Logan' aka 'Jim Logan' aka 'Skunk Bear' aka WOLVERINE! :D (Before Marvel comics turned him into crap a few years back of course.) ;)

Quite a fan of Deaths Head too -the best freelance peacekeeping agent in the galaxy...yes?

Liked Riggs before I learnt certain things about Mel Gibson.

Tank Girl.

Lastat.

Garfield.

George Clooneys character on 'From Dusk Till Dawn' is quite groovy.

and of course Ash from the Evil Dead Trilogy -soon to have a prequel!

A few years ago, I would have said either Elric or Kane. Now, I would have to go with Turner "Buzz" Meeks from James Elroy's "The Big Nowhere."

Yeah, gonna go with Nick Logue, Riddick, Spawn, and Kirth Girsen (the demon prince killer).

EDIT: Oh, and does Han Solo count? If so, add him in.

Got to go with classic film: Dirty Harry.

Auntie Hero... hmm. Jean Grey's the only one who comes readily to mind who qualifies.

Han Solo,

Riddick (although I like to pretend they never made a sequel to Pitch Black),

and

Clint Eastwood's man with no name.

...and one of my PCs: Larf Mackhammer, a seriously greedy Dwarf who despite having every bad intention finally managed to do the right thing.

Arthur Dent, Marv, some versions of Batman, Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser, Columbo, Rorschach.
