I recevied dragon 347 a few months ago and I was wondering what was that thing on page 44 beacuse I need a new flying monster for my campain and I think that whould fit the bill.
No idea. The only giant moths I remember in D&D are the Gloomwing and the insectoid gargantua from Oriental Adventures. Neither has offical 3.0 or 3.5 stats so far as I know (though I don't have MMs II-V). Your mystery moth isn't shadow-y enough to be a gloomwing and is too small to be a gargantua anyhow.

Mothra, O Mothra!
Were I to call out "Help!",You would pass through time,
Pass across the oceans,
And come rushing like a wave,
Protecting spirit.
Mothra, O Mothra!
Forgetting even gentleness,
Fallen into ruin,
The heart of man
Sings as it prays;
A song of love.
(Is this some sort of theme song?)

Mike McArtor wrote:There are more than one? o_OThat's the Mothra song.
It's the song that summons Mothra(s). :)
Usually only one at a time (there's a few movies with two larvae, but never multiple adults simultaneously). The death and rebirth of Mothra tends to happen in every movie (s)he appears in (Mothra's gender depends on the incarnation, but is usually female).

like I was sayingElgorfo wrote:Isn’t there a Leo?
Yes, in the 90's childrens environmentally friendly Mothra movies. Mothra Leo spent a brief stint as an Aqua Mothra in Mothra 2 (a scene that's the weirdest Star Wars ripoff ever made) and was reborn as an Armored Mothra to fight King Ghidorah in Mothra 3 (after travelling back in time to fight Dino-Ghidorah in the Cretaceous era. Of course).
