Kullen conversion sparked inquiry

Age of Worms Adventure Path

In my attempt to make a Dragonlance (age of despair) conversion I'm making a shift in Kullen from Half-Orc to Half-Ogre to see if it suits better, a Half-Ogre Kullen gets a +1 ECL for the Ogrishness so I began to back-step the Barbarian levels to 2. When I got to the skills I was all but stopped. In the stat block - are the scores the ranks Kullen has, or the final value adjusted for Str/Wis/Cha? From what I can tell the skills were listed as just ranks (pre-abilities) but he has too many for an Int-8 Barbarian by the -1 Int Mod. Was this an oversight or am I missing something?

Scarab Sages

It's after ranks. Total, he has 6 ranks each in Jump, Intimidate, and Listen, which is appropriate for a level 3 barbarian with a -1 int (3 maxed skills).

Ok, that's what I was starting to work with but how does the +13 fit in if the ability bonus is only +3? What bonuses am I missing?

The +13 you're looking at means one of two things. Either he has already quaffed his potion of jump (resulting in a +10 enhancement bonus), or it's an unfortunate typo

He also receives a +4 bonus because his speed (as a barbarian) is 10 ft. higher than 30. See the Jump skill for details on this. End total would be:

3 strength + 6 ranks + 4 speed bonus = 13

If he had drunk the potion of Jump, it would become a massive +23.
