Expedition to Castle Ravenloft What do I need?

Ok my wife-to-be is going to be running Expedition to Castle Ravenloft, and I’ve noticed if she DM’s she usually is a bit harder on me than other players. I think this is because she doesn’t want to appear to show favoritism. This isn’t a problem. I actually think it’s funny, especially if I can still hang in.

However, I do want to be prepared, so what do I need equipment wise, ability wise, and magical items area, if I want to survive. I think I’m going to be playing a human warlock.

Oh how is Expedition to Castle Ravenloft? I'm hoping it's going to be a great adventure, but I haven't ever looked at it.

I've only paged through it, but the old module it's based on is an undead stomp pretty much. So whatever is useful against the undead I'd say is a good bet.

I am currently playing a paladin in Expedition to Castle Ravenloft. I suggest that you arm yourself with death ward spells or scrolls as soon as possible, along with cure disease. I wont say anymore than that. :) Also, if your DM will allow it, there are several prestige classes specifically written in this campaign that are available and are a perfect fit for this adventure. Make sure your couch is a really comfortable place to sleep.

Or hang from the roof like the Lost Boys.

hehe magic blunt and sharp weapons and a lot of heal pots and be sure to take lots of tin foil to wrap around your head to avoid mind control.

hehe guess I should have said double ply thickness to infer my seriousness cause, like, man I am serious; do not go outside without it; heck wrap your sleeping bag for good measure.
