The Internet can be a bit of a genie, sometimes. I'd never heard nor heard of this song before, but I was pretty sure it had to exist - so I asked...and lo, did I receive!

I'm loving this song... it hits all of my nostalgia points right on the nose.

Remember the "satanic panic" of the '80s? Some leaned into it, though this particular piece has always come off to me as bad boy posturing.

Ok, it's after Thanksgiving; let the holiday-themed music parade commence!

Not exactly - I was too young and too far away from its epicenter to "remember" it as such, but in hindsight (especially after reading this excellent about it, which I can hardly recommend enough), I WAS affected by it, likely much more deeply than I even care to relate here. As is, I'm more concerned about the current moral panic wave that's been dominating the country since circa 2014, except this time tawdrily-disguised in large part as "secular", "progressive", and so forth.
As an uncommonly brilliant American once observed: "Bunch together a group of people deliberately chosen for strong religious feelings, and you have a practical guarantee of dark morbidities expressed in crime, perversion, and insanity." Gosh, I wonder what he'd have to say to us today...?

I'd actually never heard of or heard this one before. It's wonderful...and hauntingly timely.
Light One Candle
Peter, Paul, and Mary
Blue Christmas
Christine Winter
This is the "Year Without a Santa Claus" version, and this is the name credited with the song on IMDB, though I think that the last name "Winter" is a bit too coincidental... ah, well, be that as it may. Partly because this was on TV a dozen times every Christmas when I was a kid (or at least it seemed like it), I was an adult before I knew that Elvis Presley did this number.
Pity there's no better video of this....
