Looking for Arcane / Wizard class acts with alternate class features

Hi,

Recently I saw a Dragon issue that had alternate class features for Wizards ala PHB II, I want to get this issue but I don't know the number, can someone give me a hand?

I am sure there are plenty more, but my two of my three favorite variations were in 338: alternate staffs, and wizardy schools. (My third favorite entered the black hole at Paizo and has not yet returned....:)

I am playing a wizard going through SCAP, he's a Boccob follower and the Core Beliefs article in issue 338 was great to help me role-play his POV regarding the items with vanishing, however I have this issue and it doesn't have the particular class act article I am looking for. Thanks though :)

There are a pair of Arcane alternate class features in Dragon 348 which focus on items that improve your casting of one school of magic.

Is that what you are looking for?

hmmm... I think they were more PHB2 or UA style, stuff like you don't get a familiar but you get Y, or you don't get the bonus feats but you get X.

I will check that issue though, because I don't remember very well.

I have #344 which has the anagakok as a variant wizard, but flavor-wise I don't think it's the one you're looking for.
