Good golly. This is like trying to pick out the single best time you ever had sex.
An apt analogy, if there ever was one. Is there an RPG-equivalent for a technosexual?

I was hoping to see L'Trel come up as an option, since it was a cool early event-based adventure.
In the end, I went with Cauldron, but Diamond Lake, Farshore and Sasserine are also strong. I think the midgame/endgame burgs like Greyhawk, Magepoint, and Alhaster come up short because of space constraints on the NPCs. There's just not enough room to include level appropriate NPCs who are irrelevent to the adventure at hand, even though they can make for good sidequests and hooks for replacement PCs. Scuttlecove is something of an exception.

Ted Zuvich's whole world was interesting to me, at least the parts we got to see from his Dungeon submissions. Unfortunately I'd never be able to run a world like his. My PCs likey their magic items. :)

Ah...L'Trel. I've always wanted to see a sequal to that adventure along the same theme. You know...A Cold Day in L'Trel, A Rainy Day in L'Trel, A Dark Day in L'Trel...you get the picture. ;-)
I can't believe that Elephant's Graveyard and Prism Keep aren't getting any loving. Some people just haven't bought DUNGEON for long enough. Perhaps I'm showing my age.
I'm sorry. The Styes might be cool and all, but is the city the real attraction in Richard's adventures, or is it the people and monsters that live there?

Between the movies and the news the last few years, you'd expecte there might be some interest in a classic disaster adventure. Foundations of Flame is cool, but a fairly high level scenario. The nearest thing I can think of is Tides of Dread.

I know what you mean (part of the reason I changed my vote), but it is a pretty darn cool place too.
Still, I'm surprised some others haven't got more love.
Scuttlecove people!

I agree that the Whispering Cairn and Diamond lake should be one choice, as firmly entwined as they are. (I would also like to say that I was sorely tempted by Kongen-Thulnir, but that's just because I have a lots of giants fighting lots of dragons fetish.
