Monster parts as reagents

Can anyone tell me which issues of Dragon had articles detailing methods by which specific monster parts could be used to augment spell casting.

there was one issue, i think from 1E, that had a lot of such info. don't know if there's been a subsequent one.

i started a thread on ENWorld called "Critter Bits and Magic Recipies" some time ago that compiled all such known info. don't have a link at the moment though.
