Ship Maps

I don't suppose anyone has a straight overhead map of the Blue Nixie? The 3/4 overhead map in #139 is not going to work so well for an online game.

And I can't seem to find a map of the Sea Wyvern in any of the issues?

The map of the Sea Wyvern was a poster-size handout provided free with issue #141. It can also serve as a top-down map for the Blue Nixie, as the vessels are similar in size and type.

Alternatively, here's one I did for my online game, before the PDF for #139 was available.

To be honest, though, the map in the book is perfectly useable at minis scale. When I ran the game on tabletop I printed it at that scale (each square 1" top-to-bottom), and it worked just fine despite the forced perspective (orienting it so it faced my players helped).

I built some out of pegboard. I traced the ship onto a large piece of paper, and then layed the paper onto my pegboard and cut. A little primer, some white enamel paint, some high gloss finish and voila, a ship that I can slide over my ocean of table.

Speaking of ships, I bought some of the Whizkids Pirates! ships, they sure are nice. I wanted something so I could represent ship to ship combat should the need arise.

There is the problem I found... I lost my map of the Sea Wyvern... Is there a PDF file available of it?

There isn't, but Tatterdemalion posted an excellent alternate version, which our group liked so much that we've retconned into our game.

I have a pretty good overhead view of the Blue Nixie. Someone from the boards made it a long time ago. I'll apologize in advance though since I can't recall who to give credit to for creating the file. Email me at fgsheajr@hotmail.com and I'll send it to you.
