Kerzit

Maure Castle

Hi all,

Does anyone knows from which layer of the Abyss is Kerzit, the Guardian of the Tome?

Saludos!

Right off the top of my head, no. Fiendish Codex I mentions it I believe, but I don't have it with me here at the public library.

page 155 of FC:I lists a "-" for layer, meaning he does not rule a layer, is in contention for one, serves another lord, wanders, or is trapped. considering he is tied to the tome of the black heart and maure castle, i'd opt for the last one (trapped).

It could be interesting to create a layer where Kerzit originates, though. Are there any good candidates in FC (I don't own that book yet)?

Kerzit always struck me as being somehow related to Demogorgon; he certainly bears a LOT of resemblances to the Prince of Demons. A Demonomicon of Demogorgon would probably be a good place to explore that more... hmmm....

It has already been anounced that the Demonomicon entry in Dragon 357 will be of Demogorgon to coincide with the STAP in Dungeon. Personally, I have been waiting for this Demonomicon entry more than any other.

Me too! More weird aspects! More weird hybrid demons! Double the pleasure!

Wait...disregard that last one ;(

Sounds intriguing James, I'll keep an eye out :D

hmm, me who thought K was a creation of the tome..
Perhaps the larvae of its writer, called back as a manifestation of its caller.. and bound by the tome. (thus the varying HD)
