Is anyone else having trouble with the chatroom? Normally, I see one side where everyone's messages appear, and the other side shows who is in the room. Today, everything is overlapping and I can't do anything.
Turn on compatibility mode if you're using IE 8.

Is the chat room open to everyone? I thought I heard Lilith in her interview say that it was limited ... (Nice interview BTW) :)
The chatroom was hosted on an older machine at the time of the meltdown when PFRPG was announced. Things have improved considerably since then, but a couple of notes:
- The Chatbeast loves IE. As in, you'll time out a lot. IE 8 needs to have the compatibility mode enabled.
- The room will automagically bold your name when someone addresses you.
- Click on a person's name in the main text window to quickly enter their name on the text entry box.
- Smilies are hidden by default - look for the grayed-out smiley face beneath the text entry box.
- You can create private rooms and invite people into it. "/join RoomName" creates a room, while "/invite 'Username'" pulls people in.
- There is a dice roller. Love it - "/roll 1d20" :)

According to my hoster, there was some overheating issues that was causing the server to lockup. Should be okay for now.
