Just a note to Erik:
On the strength of your recommendation and the treatement in #352, I bought Perdid Street Station on Friday.
There is not a chance I would have bought thie book without your glowing recommendation and the article in Dragon #352. Nil. Zip. Nada. Zero point zero percent.
While I may not be every reader - I am sure I am like many of them. The author got some solid exposure and return from Dragon #352. Do not doubt for a moment that he did.
Whether I am going to thank you or blame you for the purchse remains to be seen - only 70 pages in or so and I don't think it's quite "going" yet.

The reason I originally picked up Perdido Street Station was because of Richard Petts' "The Styes" adventure. When I learned of the Dragon issue coming out, I read The Scar in about a week. Now I'm waiting for Iron Council to come in the mail. All of this excellent reading was spurred by Paizo Publishing's products. So, you'd better believe I'm getting a subscription into the foreseeable future.

I also picked up Perdido Street Station based on the comments in the Dragon editorial. I manage a bookstore and had to order a copy in. Funny thing is while I did not recognize the title I did recognize the cover when it arrived--I almost bought it years ago when it was new in hardcover but never did. Now I'm about halfway through the book and I am really enjoying it.
Thanks Erik.
Of course this means I've barely looked at this issue of Dragon in an attempt to avoid spoilers.
