Yep, I understood. It just ain't gonna happen. I tried getting a big head when I got printed in #121 and my wife nipped that in the bud real quick. But at the same time, she went and had the issue framed for my birthday. Ah... wifes. Good to have around to keep you humble (and puzzled).

I hear ya. The fairer sex do indeed have a way of keeping one humble.

That's EXACTLY what my wife did for my humble little CW in #135. Great minds think alike!!

Awesome, Steve!!! I have firsthand knowledge of how Steve Greer runs his game and it is a heck of an experience for his players. He's very theatrical and dramatic and makes full use of miniatures, sound effects, etc.

I only got to play with him and his great group for a few hours last June, but it was a great experience I hope to repeat.

I hope bringing the alcohol to the game didn't offend you, Steve. I appreciate you sampling it. You're a gentleman and your entire gaming group is a class act, for sure.

Man, I think I must have glossed right over this. Thanks a bunch, F2K. You didn't offend and I appreciate the compliments. Hope we can do it again soon.

I didn't mean to threadjack this topic. Really.

My wife's pool team is not doing as well as they were this time last year, but they are in the top three in the City again, so hopefully they'll qualify for Nationals again. My kids love Vegas too, so it's very likely we'll be out there again soon. The drive from El Paso to Vegas is a bit strenous, about 800 miles, but we are travel veterans from all the trips to Dallas for my son's surgeries, so the mini-van marathon ain't nothin'....we'll see you guys again. Hopefully Savaun will be out of the Academy by then and I can make fun of his rookieness. He'll probably be carrying about 8 guns on him, LOL....

I actually prefer the direction of the threadjacking than the original direction.

And Mormon Elder does sound like a prestige class. I bet it's more bardic than anything.

I was being discussed at with some Yahoo how Christmas and Easter and Halloween shouldn't be celebrated because they're all Paganed up. So I start trying to convince him we need to do something about the names of the days of the week, seeing as they are all named after Norse Pagan Deities and the Sun and the Moon and all.

I says, "Wednesday is named after Odin, the Norse allfather. That just isn't going to do. We need to start calling it Mosesday or something."

Monday is Mosesday.

Tuesday is Jewsday. (remember where half that bible came from)
Wednesday is Amenday
Thursday is Myrrhsday
Friday is Titheday
Saturday is Madhatterday (Charles Dodgson was a reverend, right?)
Sunday is Sunholyghostday
