Awesome, Steve!!! I have firsthand knowledge of how Steve Greer runs his game and it is a heck of an experience for his players. He's very theatrical and dramatic and makes full use of miniatures, sound effects, etc.
I only got to play with him and his great group for a few hours last June, but it was a great experience I hope to repeat.
I hope bringing the alcohol to the game didn't offend you, Steve. I appreciate you sampling it. You're a gentleman and your entire gaming group is a class act, for sure.

My wife's pool team is not doing as well as they were this time last year, but they are in the top three in the City again, so hopefully they'll qualify for Nationals again. My kids love Vegas too, so it's very likely we'll be out there again soon. The drive from El Paso to Vegas is a bit strenous, about 800 miles, but we are travel veterans from all the trips to Dallas for my son's surgeries, so the mini-van marathon ain't nothin'....we'll see you guys again. Hopefully Savaun will be out of the Academy by then and I can make fun of his rookieness. He'll probably be carrying about 8 guns on him, LOL....

I was being discussed at with some Yahoo how Christmas and Easter and Halloween shouldn't be celebrated because they're all Paganed up. So I start trying to convince him we need to do something about the names of the days of the week, seeing as they are all named after Norse Pagan Deities and the Sun and the Moon and all.
I says, "Wednesday is named after Odin, the Norse allfather. That just isn't going to do. We need to start calling it Mosesday or something."
